Around 1970, my father introduced me to a man named Ted, who said he was the personal bodyguard to HH. Wonder if true. He was a tall man,, probably about 80 at the time.

What an excellent mini-documentary about President Hoover! My mother's father was in Congress during Hoover's presidency. She says she was a little girl and during the Easter Egg roll at the White House tossed an Easter Egg at Mrs. Hoover. Mom was just a toddler.
