its funny, i cant hover very well with cp helis yet, let alone be decent with my orientations, but i can do loops and fly inverted a bit with no problems, at least in the sim that is
hey i have the same simulator but for some reason i cant get the helicopters to lift off the ground the planes work great but the heli's wont lift off the ground do you know anything about why they wouldnt do that? also how do you fly upsidedown or switch it into reverse or whatever you did
Just a question: What's the FPS? It's hard to read. Why I'm asking is that when I used Aerofly Pro Deluxe, I stayed at 80-100 FPS for a more realistic flying experience, less than 60 was not recommended. How is Phoenix in that respect? Is 30 enough for a realistic flying experience?
I have both Phoenix and a Blade 400 3D now and it's great to watch these vids here. Only a word of advice: Never forget safety when practicing, even in a sim. Practice just as hard at keeping a safe distance as you are practicing hard on technique. Other than that: Keep it up!
Well, I run it on Windows 7 now, but even before, when I had it on Xp with the same setup (1920x1080, full high settings) it only went up to 60 fps.
In order to record it with a satisfactory quality in Frapps I run it on 30 fps. It is flyable, and quite realistic but I have to make adjustments for the lag, thus it's not the same as If I fly it on full 60 FPS.
A tip: Record your flight with the in-game flight recorder, then use fraps to record the playback :) I have to do this or else the fps drops to 25 :D Even if the fps drops during playback, it doesn't affect the outcome since you're not flying.

@sciullo779 hover is the base on which to build the rest. Try to get that right first, at least that's what I did :))
