these 2 guys are soooo great players both of them, but somehow when they start to speak about something, they sound and look so fake god damn! dont know how they do it, but anyway... more important is how they play and they do it great!!!!
What´s more regrettable here is that a rare and wonderful masterpiece by the great Brahms was simply spoiled for having had just some pieces of pieces of pieces shown, due to conversation that in this case doesn´t interest at all. That´s why I usually prefer to listen to my discs, with no useless comments interfering.
Not La Passion!La Pasion de Capucon on You Tube!Pasion with ONE S!!!!!ON YOU TUBE!!!!!Then you will know evrything about these two young talented artists!
That's a really young looking orchestra. They keep talking about their history with the orch. but I'm trying to figure out exactly which orch. it is!! haha
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
i dont know what everyone sees in them!!!!! i heard them each play their respective tchaikovsky concertos two summers ago with Philly in Saratoga and they bombed it! The cellist wasn't hideous but the violinist was missing notes LEFT AND RIGHT!!!!! I'm sorry I don't care who you are but when you solo with the Philadelphia Orchestra you just don't do that....you just don't! I saw them play the Brahms Double too and it was nothing to write home about!
Are you serious? I saw Gautier Capucon play the Dvorak and Walton concerti last June and he was phenomenal. Great musician and technically spot-on. He also gave a masterclass and he was a good teacher too.
I bought the new CD of this. The performance is first-rate and compares well with the established benchmarks recordings, in my opinion - highly recommended. (btw I am not connected in any way to EMI, when I say this!)
Both Capucons are highly talented but I am a huge fan of Gautier Capucon in particular. He is simply awesome.
Did you mean "what HELL is this?", with regards to so short parts of real music, and conversation that we´re not here to hear instead?
I´m joking. Sorry. I got mad, as I first presumed I´d listen to the whole concert and perhaps the quintet (this one I´d heard before, by diverse performers).
i love you two!!! heard this piece by them both 3years ago!! such GREAT GREAT musicians!!!! and such NICE people!!! im looking that forward to the release of this cd!!!! 100000 thanks for posting!!

No doubt, this has already been pointed out: Renaud looks frightfully like Yehudi Menhuin. Only, he moves a bl**** lot.

princechandy 2 years ago 2

many disappointments, but beginning of third movement by Gautier is excellent.

Although its always a matter of opinion but i believe that gautier has the best Haydn, Rachmoninov and also Brahms piano trio.
very romantic, talented right on the money performers. Up and coming musicans!!!!!!!!!
