That was textbook on how to shoot a deer with your bow. You waited for the perfect broadside shot. You waited until his head was down to draw and you made as quick and humane kill as possible. Dad, you should be proud you have a an outstanding hunter and I'm sure a great son......Congrats to you both.!! And remember keep filming them those videos last forever-memories fade.

awsome video. i did the same thing this year. i shot a 8 pointer saturday morning ( a opener) in wisconsin around black river falls. it was my first deer with a bow and my first buck. i did not drop it like you did but mine ran for a while untill he finaly droped.
