  • i wus looking for someone as good as ozcarsalas and u are so awesome dude B) i love the audio its hilarious XD

  • whats the font used?

  • My question is, for the rotations do you rotate the camera or the comp? cause it makes sense to rotate the camera, but then it behaves differently at different rotations... if that makes sense?

  • hey would it be possible for me to see your comp? I really want to make one of these video's and I would love to see the full layout.

  • I'm looking at doing something like this for my Design class.

    Any tips? ]:

  • hahaha, this is amazingg<3 (:

i also like the moviee<3 its so funny

  • thank you... I have a vision.

  • Okay first of all... that is absolutely astonishing! Now please enlighten me a little bit on how did you pull this off... I mean... I do simple animations in After Effects but... This... Can you recommend some reading, forums, tutorials...? Or maybe just tell me a little bit more about your workflow :) !!! Thank you in advance, I am soooo eager to learn!

  • I have to say, Linzi, I've looked all over YouTube for any other dynamic type vids that are even HALF as good as yours and there aren't any! This is such a great video and just so funny I can't help but keep watching it over and over! :) Thanks for making my life a little more cheery!

  • "A CENTER FOR ANTS!!??" lol

  • nice

  • 00:15 was my favourite part! This is awesome! How did you pull off that rotation movement? Did you position the text individually?

  • this is amazing :) i want to do typography as a career when i get in school

  • Take a look into Computer & Multimedia Graphics, Technical Graphics, Graphic Design, or some similar field. You'll get to learn all you need to make such wonderful compositions as these.

  • i love that part in the movie!

  • Very entertaining, this is dead-on for Zoolander!

  • Rofl, AWESOME!

  • Nice use of color

  • hahaha this is hilarious! great job (:

  • i know what your talking about i say that commercial i forgot what it's about though

  • Very Well DonE!

  • really good...love it..

  • Nice, people really underestimate the work that goes into making this. The syncing isn't 100% accurate, but close enough. :)

But *slap* for saying Zoolander is your favourite movie!

  • that was great.

  • i love it!

i have to make something like that at school to at the moment!

  • its inside the computer!!!

  • What applications do I need to make some typography scenes?

  • I'm torn between my enjoyment of Ben Stiller and my hatred for pure stupidity.

    Good typography, though. Flows well.

  • I love that scene!!

  • Hahaha, lmao.

    This is Great!!! :D

  • we saw this in our typography class. BRAVO. i loved it. this is my fav! ^.^

  • Yeah me too.. It''s the color scheme..

  • hehe love the movie..love the type

  • can't read good

    haha

  • haha, I just can't help but laugh.

  • atleast...3 times bigger than this!

  • one of the better kinetic typos on youtube

  • one of the best scenes in the movie.

    great job

  • wonderful.

  • Very good! But like alpuppy said it really didn't need the 'step' on the shoe but i only noticed it after i read his comment and watched it again.

  • that was awesome

  • very cool, just didn't like the word "step" on the foot

  • Thank you for the critique! I take feedback seriously because this piece is in my portfolio. What exactly about it did you not like? Do you believe that there should not be a word in there at all, or maybe a different word? :)

  • good. I like it when people like constructive criticism. for the steps I just didn't think that the word is necessary to get the point across, the feet alone with no word would look good. I'm not sure if having no word goes against the principles of kinetic/dynamic typography, if it does than maybe like *click*clack* or something like that.

    i hope that helps.

  • hmmm I like the click clack idea. I had something similar in my original storyboard (tap), but changed it to step for a reason I can no longer remember.

    Thank you!

  • hehe I like 'tap' too, if only there was another word, like 'tip'tap'tip'tap, but tip doesn't make sense, and multiple taps kind of implies tapping with a finger.

Gladly, and I'm subscribing, gotta see what else you come up with!

  • In the swedish language we also use the word "tap", but we also use the word "Tip". If this was in swedish it would be fully acceptable with tip-tap on the steps. ^^

  • great man :)

  • i have to do a similar thing for work. but i'm a bit lost, you say you start in photoshop ?

than how about the camera effects, you work with different camera's ? and the turning effect, is it a photoshop layer that is bigger than your composition ? please help me out a little bit. Thx (nice job on the animation btw)

  • KEWL!

  • Great motion style and color scheme.

  • haha i love the 'i dont wanna hear your excuses' part, its so quick you cant read it, its perfect :)

  • great

  • good job!! i'm learning aftereffects now and i'm thinking that I should try a typography comp. :) keep it up!!! :D

  • fwhahaha brillant, well done and a GREAT scene from the movie

    What'd you do it on?

  • I did all the animation in Adobe After Effects, but I started with comps of type, boxes and objects in Photoshop.

Thank you for the comment! :)

  • np it really was great

  • Great work! I loved it :)

  • Zoolander an awsome movie...good job.

  • COOL! great movie....

  • nice work man!, just wondering are there any tutorials on how to create these creative typography videos

  • Thanks! I don't know about tutorials, I did this for a Dynamic Typography class. My best advice if you want to do them is watch videos that have been done, and come up with your own style. It's basically matching text to audio in After Effects. :)

  • wow, amazing, funny, great coolers, cool animation and you have selected a great video to make a Typography of. 5/5

  • lol. this is like my favorite scene.

  • FANTASTIC!

    Both choice-wise and completion...-wise.

Or in english: you did a very nice job and I approve greatly of it!
