Gun Control WORKS!!! Just ask all the Iranian people who are oppressed by the Fascist Islamic regime! Ask them why their Revolution failed miserably. They have no guns, that's why. When the "armed" militias show up to your home in Iran and want to arrest you for protesting, you will go with them. An un-armed person is more likely to be raped in the ass than an armed person during a home invasion robbery.
The purpose of the gun is to shoot, it does not distinguish friend from foe. It will kill because it was meant to kill. The owner of the gun or the person who opperated the gun is responcible for the life or property it destroys. To bear arms isn't about shooting guns, its about fighting fist to fist.
Well of corse if you have a gun at home its 63 times more likely you will get shot then if you don't have a gun. Why,because if you don't own a gun how are going to get shot, only if some one out side of your home shoots you.
on the other hand...... if you don't have a gun at your household then you are 90 times more likely to be killed or injured by an intruder.
