it keeps from getting any backround noise when trying to play leads. youll often see tape or bandanas or something like that used. its a good strategy from making stuff real clean for recording.

It's kinda cheating, but it's better than wasting time taking like, 1000 takes until one is flawless for a mistake you probably won't even notice live.

Jesus was a jew. His skin was probably of the olive/tan/brown complexion w/ dark brown hair and dark brown eyes. He probably looked more middle eastern/arabic vs. white hippie (blonde hair and blue eyes) which is what Micah looks like.

I too once believed in the stereotypical image until high school. I had a history sub who was call "Jesus" more than once a day that he decided to devote a whole lesson plan to "enlighten us."

He's the reason I started looking into the history of christianity vs. just going by what 's told. Very interesting stuff I've learned and I think I'm the only person who thanked him for the opportunity lol (^_^)

Not to say that Davis isn't incredible - he is - but any decent engineer (unless theyre trying to get a 'raw' unedited feel to the record) will use audio flex to bring everything perfectly into time. I'm sure he was as bang on as humanly possible anyway, but it's just what engineers do because it makes the record sound even tighter.
