  • i got this on a re-issue 45 too.founded 2 years ago and it was the 1st time i've heard it.it's not that bad and you're right,it should of gone big like 'the cheater'.thanks for this posting of this song.

  • Well not as good as "The Cheater", it's not bad.

  • This is possibly the greatest sound-alike follow up ever. I absolutely love this record. For collector's out there, the original version on Musicland U.S.A. is a different take than the re-issue on Eric.

  • I always did like this piece. Could never get enough of that big brass sound witht Vox Continental organ.

  • I enjoyed this song when it came out in 66 and I still enjoy listening to it. This is a musician's song.....great rhythm, rich harmonies and a great key change.

  • Havent heard this one in 40 years thanks a lot he died same way as his songs..?

  • @fgonzalezcuba2008 Not Quite, Bob's wife, was the cheater, with there next door neighbor he invited Bob over to show him a stone fore pit he had built, then shot bBob once in the chest, put his body in the fire pit, then filled it in. He also Killed his own wife, made it look like she died in a car crash, 2 years later, it was his own Son, who put 2 & 2 together, called the police they dug up the fire pit, found Bobs body, dug up his wifes body, he went to prison 4 Life.

  • I haven't heard this song since it's release in 1966! Thanks for posting it sodapop!

  • Bob Kuban told me he actually hates this song. Has a bad memory to it.

  • I think one of the bands problems is a lack of writers. IF they would have had The Righteous Brothers writers they might have gone alot further.

THIS is 60s green acres music oh yea.

  • @blueyesoul1l Actually they did have pretty good writers. Krenski and Hoeltzel were the writers of this and the Cheater but they lost their focus I heard when some joker named Friedman interferred with the group and got them to form a new group called the Guise which never really went anywhere.....

  • The Cheater is great. This though is just embarrassing.

  • I love it.Like a sound-alike.1969 re-issue.The Cheater on The A Side- The Teaser On The B-Side.Love it.

  • @74sodapop The Eric reissue I had really did have Cheater on the A and Teaser on the flip...this side's pretty good but can't come close to the Cheater

  • @thecountofbasie The Cheater- one of the greatest records ever made- But I always liked The Teaser- What a single- I would have bought it

  • Nice to see this one back again!

  • Hot dog. You found it. It comes back to me! Nice work, sodapop!

  • I remember this one... late spring 1966. I bought a reissue 45 on Eric Records back in 1969; The Teaser was back-to-back with The Cheater. Great band... in the same musical groove as another group I like: Bill Deal & the Rhondels.

  • never heard this song before
