  • Mike. can you teach me HOW TO CONTROL A HIGH METABOLISM. i eat food and my body just inhales it and that source is gone distributed throughout my body faster than you can read this. i get shakes, tremors, i feel like i am fasting but i really ain't. i will say i am very toned and ripped. but i havn't stopped growing. how can you go longer without food and avoid shakes? plz get back.

  • no top comment........

    umm ummmmm PUSHUPS!!!!

  • Hey mike, what's the deal with protein shakes? I'm training pretty hardcore right now, do I need protein shakes? Are they bad? Are they good? Please reply, thx!

  • may i ask, does walking counts as working out, or sort of?

  • @698del no. walking sucks for working out. running/jogging on the other hand is amazing.

  • @ThatWhiteGuy97 hmmm, maybe walking's x considered as workin' out, but it's a good daily physical activity though....

the japanese people 4 example usually walks & cycle from places 2 places and of course the way they cook & eat also help them in staying in shape 4 their lifetime......

but of course, running/jogging is much better than walkin' like u said & do 4give me if i sound like bashing u by the way.....

  • @698del i really think you should do jogging for a workout instead of purposely going out and using walking for one. Do jogging, not sprinting or walking. You want to do jogging because that focuses on burning fat. Sprinting focuses on building muscle. Remember to eat properly and get 8-10 hours of sleep. Do that and see AMAZING results.

  • @698del u better go jogging or running

    but my favorite is sprinting

    (100m FULL sprint)

  • @azetyfreak thank u 4 the answer.....

actually, i've been following the japanese way of eating & daily physical activities and of course with drinking a lot of water daily...

they did help me in losing weight and i've been in my ideal range of weight & shape 4 almost a year now....

  • i am sum what chubby would it be fine to use protein shakes

  • @tatagliacon as long as you do weight workouts buddy you should be fine

  • @amberoldgregg weight work outs before or after workout

  • @tatagliacon depends on how much you take how many and when yo utake them.

  • @TheTeleious what is the right amoun, does it depend on how much i work out take a shake once a day

  • @tatagliacon

Well its not just protein shakes, you have to have the right diet as well.

getting a good body is 70% gym 30% diet, 100% passion and dedication.

See, if you diet properly by eating alot of protein based foods like Chicken, Steak, Tuna, Beef, you're gonna bulk up pretty easily.

I myself am eating tuna or chicken every 3 hours, not a full fillet or a whole can of tuna but maybe a quarter of a fillet, to keep my metabolism going. just eat alot of good food and work your muscle groups.

  • is there a way to find out how many calories i should be eating a day with my daily life in order to gain muscle and lose fat? i exercise alot thru sports and sometimes does gym workouts but not as much, but i also get very hungry after and i eat enough to fill me, sometimes i feel more tone than other but then others ill feel flabby but skinnier

  • @TheFatKid128 There are many resources online where you can input your stats (like weight, height, age, sex and activity level) and it will calculate a rough estimate of your caloric needs.

  • thanks for the tip

  • hey mike im in a pickle now im skiny and cant lift alot of weight ive tried workin out and i do some of your workouts but its not working do u have any tips on getting muscle mass please help i am a fan of yours and respect what u do thanks i look forward to hearing from u

  • @TheNutcracker313 look at his vids, he has a video of your situation

  • @TheNutcracker313 if you are skinny you need protein shakes buddy, you will gain muscle while working out if you do that.

  • @TheNutcracker313 not sure if i can help mate but i used to quite a skinny guy and now im more built up and yeah the thing you want to do is get small weights maybe do a few reps a day then build up over time like after a week do 20 reps twice then once you feel that weight is easy increase it by a few kg about 2.5kg-5kh increase, as well try and eat more food that contains alot of protein like chicken etc

  • i want him to fuck me

  • Hi mike i wanted to know if I have weight training and i do all this workouts you have posted on here for all of us, the day after, is that the afterburn effect and if it is if i start doing this can i get all buff and ripped as soon as you say it will be great if you can reply to this because i really want ot be in as great shape as you and dan thank you man

  • thanks for the tip i tried it and it burns its gettin the job done

  • Mike, love your videos, do you have any tips on proper diets for students or young professionals on a tight budget?

  • My brain switches to SURVIVAL MODE: when some one takes my food.lol

  • Dieting does not mean starving out of death though. Dieting means also reducing high fat foods consumption and replacing them with low fat protein foods (i.e. chicken breast and veg.)

  • do u have a forearm video

  • @TheNutcracker313 you need a stick with some rope ( about 3 - 4 feet long and tie some weight to it . lower it and bring it back up...it'll make you burn

  • @TheNutcracker313 im looking for the same thing.

  • Wonderful video! by the way my brother followed this hot natural diet named: Impact 790 Diet and got rid of 5 kgs in a month. I cannot really remember the exact web site just Google it.

  • when i watch mikes AND daniels videos i got myself some motivation. always thans guys :)

  • Could you pls upload a video that shows the right nutrition for GAINING weight instead of loosing? It would be awesome if I'd have a little guide line because I have no idea how to begin with that.

  • @tweetymr You should be able to calculate your daily need of calories by using some kind of calorie calculator, just google it. Then simply eat more than that each day. Also you have to remember that if you work out like Mike and his buddies you are also going to burn like 500-1000 calories a day which means you have to eat more. So, just eat like a freaking idiot, but eat healthy :P

  • @yuukikun5 Wow, that's really hard :D But I'll try, thanks for your advise!

  • @tweetymr Yeah it's quite hard but there are these supplements called gainers. I have a friend that used to be skinny, his metabolism was way to high and his body fat percentage was like 4-5 % high. He started taking the gainer supplement and gained weight. It contains about 40 % proteins and 40 % carbohydrates and 20 % of ... other stuff. Remember, when you start gaining weight, it won't be so much muscles. Remember that gaining weight and adding muscle is not the same thing. :)

  • @yuukikun5 gainers are peices of high cholesterol shit.

  • @tweetymr Eat some cheese burgers!!!!

  • @Elijah1595 Tried about 2 Months. Ate every day tons of them but nothing happened! And that's not healthy at all ;)

  • @sixpackshortcuts Hey Mike I believe dieting and starving yourself is THE DUMBEST thing you could possibly do and it is worse than doing nothing. This is because while dieting you will loose weight but your body will go into conservation mode since your depriving your body of food. So, the next time you consume ANYTHING... your body will store all of the food in your body instead of getting rid of unnecessary food.

  • just saying.. im on low carb diet. w/ nearly only chicken and salad as food.. really works for me. Tho im working out 5-6 days a week

  • @sondreborseth you need more than that and you must use supplements at least but natural foods are better just modesty and good judgement really you don't need to stop eating everything bad

  • holy crap your shoulders and bicepts are almost bigger than your head

  • please view my channel

  • Start, you know- Go ahead aayund..

  • @MISSINGROGERHOWARTH - They got females in there too so I think they would give you the anwers but as he said in a few videos back or I dont remember when as hey tries to answers all the question as he can so you need to wait..

  • You guys really seem to know what you're talking about, so I subscribed. By the way, I'm a female. I was glad to hear you mention females...lol, because after watching a few of your videos, I was wondering if I was in the wrong place. So is it ok if I come here and ask questions about diet and nutrition from you guys?

  • @66goingnowhere66 fresh taliban meat is really bad for your waistline, try getting a life

  • Why no one heard about DietOramy diet regime program? I was randomly shooting Google and found it - I have to admit it's the very first nutritious diet plan that I've experimented with that does not make me feel often hungry, and I am still losing surplus weight.

  • New Modern Ninjas with Muscles...... n nice vid. Mike!!!!

  • i bet a woman asked this question ¬__¬ (y r they so lazy)

  • You can diet and maintain muscle. You simply just eat high protein no carb meals, 6-8 times a day...

  • other than working out, what raises your metabolism..? what if i can't workout for some reason??? fcol, please respond. thanks.

  • Hi! Have you ever tried - fast abs magic (do a search on google)? Ive heard some great things about it and my mate got beautiful 6 pack abs and lost tons of belly fat with it.

  • starving yourself will also dramatically slow down the metabolism so that when you do binge eat, your body will store most of it as fat(survival), whereas if you just eat healthy, and still eat a fair bit, it will keep your metabolism running faster, and you will not store everything you eat as fat. eating frequent small meals is actually the best diet you can go on, you can eat a lot, just keep the meals small and healthy.

  • Uhh if you didn't have muscles you wouldn't have organs either...just sayin.

  • @ellaxswimz feel happy..shut the fuck up lmao

  • im a women/ girl. Im a teen (: Hell ya <3 love your channel mike

  • do you have anything for abs/upper body strength for girls?

since i'm thinking of joining break dancing club, and those two things would really help :D

  • you chainged my life ...thank you !!!

  • do you have any teen vids?

  • The healthiest option is to have calorie controlled diet and a varied exercise program.

Calorie controlled does not mean extreme low calorie. It means recommended daily allowance.

A varied exercise program is Flexibility training, resistance training and cardio. unfortunately most people do not do this.

Also keeping track of foods on the glycemic index is a must.

Doing most of these things can achieve a healthy good looking body.

  • Being on a calorie surplus is not healthy for long term survival, regardless of how much muscle you have. Science shows that calorie restriction actually contributes greatly to longevity. I would say that if you can strike a balance between these extremes it would be a lot healthier than being at a calorie surplus all the time.

  • FUCKING GOONS......AWFUL ACTING

  • im so confused.. one minute i hear "you need to watch what you eat, no fastfood, no fries, no chips, no pizza, etc." then i hear "you need to eat more calories to build muscles" and on some occasions i hear "as long as your working out, diet is the least of your worries"... help, im skinny, and i need to know if i need to eat alot more calories or watch my diet to bulk up.. im working out but im concerned about my diet..

  • @xBlue741 You can eat plenty but stick to good food. It's not the amount as much as it is the quality. Sugar and white flour are empty calories, they interfere with your body's natural systems, and do not satisfy nutritional needs - hence, avoid. Also avoid saturated fats, i.e. "no fast food, no fries, no chips, no pizza, etc." Just eat mostly lean protein (beef, chicken, turkey, fish, eggs, milk), vegetables, fruits, nuts, herbs and spices, as much as possible organic. Occasional treat meals.

  • @shaunmoss And remember if you make any mistakes on your diet, you can always smash it with exercise. It's possible to overcome years of poor eating with only months of rigorous exercise.

  • @xBlue741

Get about 150 grams of protein a day as you gradually increase your weights. Stay away from refined foods, like sugary breakfast cereals, bread and other processed junk with added sugar. Get carbs before work outs and healthy fats through out the day, take a multi-vitamin. etc

  • @wingzer20 it is a good idea to eat alot of protien if you excercise alot, cus itll help build muscle. If you are skipping meals to smoke you might still see results but not as good because your not taking in as much protein

  • Starvation Mood :( Why is losing weight hard lol

  • I have a Question I Exercise Everday And I am over weight but i have seen results i feel faster and stronger before i couldnt even do 1 pull up. but i want to get ripped but i sortah got an addiction ...Weed :\.... Some Times i Skip Meals Just TO SMoke, Will I still Get Ripped If I dont eat? also Did I Mention I Am a 5ft 8 15 year old?

  • @wingzer20 Why would you skip meals to smoke? haha, I'd eat everything in sight. Anyway, no food = no muscle gain. Your body requires material to build muscle from, this is gained through diet. If you want to 'get ripped' you need a lean, high protein diet (low fat, and cut a little carbs), and exercise. Enough sleep is pretty important as well as most of your growth hormone is released during that period. Good luck!

  • @wingzer20 I smoked weed for years while training. It doesn't prevent you from training hard if you're motivated (sometimes it can even help). But still, look on youtube for scooby1961 "Marijuana & Bodybuilding" it clarifies some of the issues to be aware of.

  • @shaunmoss you're the man. thanks bro. wish you were my father lol

  • @wingzer20 thanks man, that's quite a compliment :) good luck!

  • @shaunmoss

It depends on who you are and your genetic profile. Just saying everybody can work out on weed is kinda stupid.

  • @shaunmoss

It depends on who you are and your genetic profile. Saying everybody can smoke weed during work outs just because you can do it is kinda stupid.

  • Skin is an organ. :P

  • lol, you were never fat, your arms were average in the before pic, plus you had a respectable amount of muscle, and you were pushing ur gut out, pretty quick to cut up from that!

  • Hi Mike, i was wondering, in my diet 95% of the time i only drink water and semi-skimmed milk. I probably consume about 4 pints of milk a week on average, is this good for helping me aid recovery and muscle development? and is this intake of milk preventing me from reducing my body fat percentage? if you could answer these questions i would really appreciate it!

  • i had a quick question about calories in calories out so bassically to burn more calories throught out the day than wut u consume but does that only count by the calories from a workout or does the calories that your body burns by itself count to plz respond

  • I love training my upper body, it feels great, but i hate the feeling of training my abs.

  • actually in order to see abs, all you need to do is diet.

  • is is okay to luke be realy strict most days and then kinda let lose?

  • I get this question ALL THE TIME from girls on my YT channel & from friends! I always tell them to EAT HEALTHY not really a "diet" but to ALSO weight train. So many girls are so scared of Weight Training. I've lost 65 lbs w/cardio, weight training AND heathy eating. Not just 1. Thanks for this video. Gonna share for sure! Maybe chk out my channel & say hi?!

  • Are you guys gay porn actors? I'd like to see you in one.....

  • @GianniBarbarona LOL that's so wrong.

  • @GianniBarbarona Fuck off faggot watch another channel.u lazy cheap fat gay bitch.

  • Hey man, you lost a whole lot of weight quite a while ago right?

Did you have to get rid of any stretch marks or "loose skin" on your stomach?

    Just wondering...

  • the key to dieting is just eat less.. not eating is not the way to go.. eat 3 times a day with veggies that has a lot of protein if a person prefers not to eat meat. and eat less at night by eating fruits..

  • LOL How many times did he say ''You know?'' LOL

  • "Most definitely."

  • Question: I'm not going to do this, but just interested. So if dieting and the person doesn't eat any protein but works out constantly. Is there at one point that person will be losing any muscle?

  • im dieting and still working out everyday...i also drink a glass of whey .. am i doing something wrong? thanks

  • I think dieting is alot harder than working out, just ordered your workout videos hopefully they work for me

  • @pbjockie88 Don't buy stuff that's not healthy.

  • Not being a dick, but Daniel's body makes him look like he has girl hands lol

  • these guys either got it all wrong or theyʻre explaining it in a weird way...but yes you can get abs from a proper diet. with a proper workout plan and a good diet, you can get abs. but starving yourself definitely wont get you abs...

  • some people say that the best diet is 20% exercise and 80% dieting- as you said in this video,it would mess up your shape . what do you think is the best balance for losing weight and getting a good body shape?(:

  • @HELLYEAHITSABEARxD when people say diet they mean what you intake not a "DIET". They mean what makes up your "natural" diet, so primarily healthy foods instead of fat greasy and sugary foods. This is a good diet.

  • I have a question about abs... i noticed some people that have abs, they look like they are not balanced. How can i prevent that from happening?

  • What about maintaining a 1000 calorie per day diet AND workout? Will this work ?

    Stats- 6 foot 1

    202 pounds

exercise= 3-4 days swimming and running

  • @JustinLameTV you'd need AT LEAST 2400-2500 calories a day I'd say

  • @conradskiii agreed

  • lol im the complete oppisite i have a really fast metabolism and want to workout but really dont want to diet. is it important i diet?

  • I'm going to try the "Sixpack Shortcuts" method. I bought it recently and start at the beginning of september. I'm gathering as many viewers as possible to reach everybody and allow you all to choose on your own to try this or not. These are my intentions: watch?v=jNgllZBLKxw . If you want subscribe to get updates, thanks for your time!

  • can you gain weight if you go to sleep right after dinner?

  • I Need to eat more IMAO.

  • Is this program good for someone who wants to be an MMA Fighter and what is your opinion on the Paleolithic Diet?

  • Hey man, i found this channel about a week ago. The second I found it I was impressed. I'm a bit out of shape and have been wanting all summer to get in shape. I have been using your tips and integrating your workouts into mine. In just a week I'm having noticeable results. My belly has visible results. I used to just have about and inch of fat coming off of me and now its about only a half an inch and the 6 packs are starting to form. My biceps are also growing huge! Its amazing! Thanks mike!

  • hey mike is it more effective to diet and exercise moderatley hard to lose weight and achieve results or eat normal amount and attempt to work out enough to destroy all fat reserves?

  • So no

  • @4RoyalVEVO If it were, do you have to work your abs, for a 6-pack. I'd say no. But if you're doing literally no exercise, then maybe not.

  • yeah...most definitely :)

  • i think the chap on the left looks up to the other one in ore

  • nice advice

  • Thanks,mann and ur built

  • great vid guys!!!! i preach this sooo much to anyone looking to get the muscular lean look, men and women! Eat clean, try X amount of protein/carbs/fats for a month and see what your body likes. Check measurements before the diet and after the first month, that will tell you if you are eating enough or too many calories per day! A lot of people think low carbs makes you lose weight and it may, but you maybe burning your muscle instead of the fat. GREAT VID!!!!

  • @kiranofreestyle. Compared to deserts and such fizzy drinks is by far the worst thing for the look your wanting.

All the good eating and exercise is counteracted by the refined sugars in these drinks (not so much fitness wise, but definitely for the cut look you want). These sugars have seriously high calorie per gram content and this alone will so stop you burning fat and can also cause water retention and bloating, as your body tries to counteract/dilute the high blood sugar levels, and s

  • lol i ate less than like 800 calories a day not cos of like i want to starve myself but because i just cba eating for some reason im not fat but i looked really skinny it was a bad time

  • One good thing about the fat people that do this is its easier for them to pack on muscle.

  • You guys are great all your advise and your workouts are top notch its great to have something like this on youtube. Thanks!

  • Fuck boring diets it's all about proper eating habits and plus the workouts are more fun! ;)

  • Seriously need HELP !

I have around 10-12% body fat and i can see my abs very rarely and mostly when tensed, i play football and do cardio and do weights in my house, the only thing i think that is letting me down is my diet, i love fizzy juice and have a sweet tooth, any advise on cutting down and what not to eat ?

Thanks man, i watch your videos like everyday i really wanna be able to see my abs :)

  • Thank you :)

  • i wish they would stop talking and having sex

  • GREAT VIDEO! I could tell about my experiences how I was really skinny! NO DIET ANYMORE!

  • they are bum buddies, but i wonder who gives it and who takes it?

  • they are bum buddies

  • @tatted90 can u explain that to me. so u stay low caarb, which lets u eliminate additional risk of breakdown into sugar and fat, but the protiens that u take in are ignored and ur body takes away from ur muscle mass? so what happens to the protien u intake?

  • @SIXPACKSHORTCUTS HEY BRO WHATS THE BEST EXERCISE THERE IS TO GET THE SIX PACK FAST?

  • Comment removed

  • I like the fact that you guys covered "low calorie intake=loss of muscle mass" but to be specific, low-CARB diet = loss of muscle mass because when you are in a low carb diet, your body, specifically your muscles, uses protein stored in your muscles as an energy/fuel source. There are a lot of misconception about low carb diet losing weight but you are really losing muscle weight and you guys did a great job explaining that in this video keep it up

  • i love all this talk about health and beside you on the coffee table there's a glass of what looks like liquor lol : )

  • @22complexity the thing is when u drop weight and fat u do it all over. u can only target muscle growth not weight loss. i had to do thesame thing. my arms got moe defined but lost size so i no longer fill my sleeves, but i can always build them up bigger which i what i recomend for u. and no joke, cardio kickboxing is truly the best. cross training is good too.

  • @22complexity do cardio kickboxing for weight loss, eat lean proteins and vegies servings the size of ur fist every four hours. vegies bare unlimited. after cardio kickboxing which will grant u muscle stimulation and weight reduction all over, then do some heavy lifting for arms and chest to stimulate even more muscle growth in that area, and reduce the chance of losing size whn u drop weight

  • what is better to loss weight on the elliptical or treadmill im 220pounds 5'10

  • kind of a complicated question, but i weigh 170 pounds, and im pretty muscular in my arms and my chest. but i have a significant amount of fat on my stomach that i want to get rid of, but i dont want to be too light. How would i get rid of belly fat without losing too many pounds?

Thanks a lot if you can help

    Rick.

  • if i wanted to get abs like yours, what should we be eating?

  • is ur arm natural? it doesnt look u workout on that hard maybe rod

  • plus it shouldnt be a diet. your diet should be a lifestyle plan. not omg im on a diet. it should be this is how i eat. because usually people go on a diet, we'll when are you going off. it should be a lifestyle change.

  • you actually can diet in order to get abs. its true. everyone has abs.its a layer of fat covering it. you have to lower your body fat %, the problem is people dont do CORRECT DIETS.

  • smart water doesnt have electrolytes in it. hope you realize that.

  • could you please put more video for gettin sick packs, for those who cant afford to buy or sign up on the 100 vip...

  • there are no shortcuts to getting a sixpack. It's alot of work!

  • you guys are funny. this is so homoerotic. why don't you guys rub each other to the camera?

  • @bahaila wtf fag go somewhere else and look at guys rubbing on each other stay off this channel sicpack is too good to have shit from bitches like u

  • @SwiftGunzz No, that's his forearm definition. Triceps are on the back of your upper arm.

  • Yeah, most definately.

  • hey um, im 13.... and i stopped weight training because suposedly it stuns growth. so two questions: does weight training stun growth? and does what are the benefits/ non-benefits of working out with only bodyweight

  • @XxDAVID305 its a myth but i woudn't want to get injured at your age, stay away from heavy weights and most back excercises

  • @XxDAVID305 Yes, the stuns growth thing MAY be true. But it is still a myth. This is my opinion: Don't do weight training until your at least 15. Your body is still growing and changing. IF you really want to exercise, you can start in your 8th grade year, just start with lighter weight. Use lighter weight, do more reps. It will give you same or even better results. Master your techniques, make sure you do everything properly. Google "Benefits of Bodyweight Calisthenics "

  • awsume...sendin this video to my girlmate.....shes lost wieght but looks unhealthy....
