The airbag are about $60 a piece and you can find them on ebay. My mechanic replaced them in less than 5 minutes. I think Suncore is the best place to get them from ebay and they come witha a 3 year warranty.
My navigator bags are in great conditions and the compressor is good too but the rear still is on the ground do you have a solution to this please this is my only vehicle
i have a buddy whos 01 navigator is doing the same the rear is squatting how hard are these bags to change? our out of curiosity how much would your shop charge out the door to replace the bags?
My lincoln navigator did the same shit and now at less than 100k the motor is on it's way out. If this is the Best ford can do I'll go to GM. Cadillac I used to owned lasted forever, rode better, and damn sure looked better. Tired of this fucked ford. Trade in time.
my navigator is a 1999 and on wednesday the batttery die and did not have a battery charger or jumper cables for a jump start until Sunday. Now the entire rear suspension drop down. i finally gave it a jump start and the compressor that lifts the rear did not turn on. is there something that i can do to make the compressor start again and lift the car up again?
@malcabro is your Check susp light on? if is not then it could be a leak.... but, if the light is on i'd say start at the solenoid for the air compressor and then the air compressor it self, Good Luck.
@davidstowingservice The bags last around ten years, or 200K miles, usually. Its worth it to replace just the bags. AutoZone has a replacement strut package for $160 if you want to fit it with reg susp. Nothing like the air ride, though.
