cause he sounds like shit....his solos in studio are too melodic and good, but he at live performance seems a drunk idiot, and I think he and obituary does not combine.

YEah! I totally agree with you man! I've seen all their shows here in Holland since their comeback and ever since they play with Ralph they don't really sound like Obituary anymore.

His solo's are really weak and cheap, just going through licks and licks and licks, it doesn't relate to the songs in any way at all! Listening to him soloing, is like listening to an instruction cd for 'How to play 5 monotone licks'...

... And when a song ends, he ALWAYS has to fuck the beauty of the ending up by playing another dumb lick!!! I really think that Frozen in Time was the last real, and really good, Obituary album.

Haha and listen to him saying: "I don't play metal, I just play..." Everything he plays is just what any cliché metal guitarist does!!!

YEah, I bet when they jam to AC/DC he also fucks those songs up by playing his crappy solo style of 'motoric finger exercises in high speed up and down the neck with no feeling or relation to whatever is happening in the music' instead of trying to play a bit of the solo's of Angus Young... (which have a good sense of rhythm and timing and melody)

It depends on the show, I saw him and he sounded great. But I agree he doesn't fit in Obituary, but he sounded great on his solo albums and with Iced Earth and Deicide.
