28x1/2

We can put a 1 under the 28 and multiply across. 28 divided by 1 is 28 so it works.

Now we have 28/2 and that doesnt work, at least we need to change this to a mixed number or a whole number if it turns out that way.

So 28 divided by 2, 2 goes into 28 fourteen times. Since we dont need to simplfy anymore were done.

So 28 X 1/2 is 14.
