Maybe it would help, to answer your question to know that rape isn't understood to be an act of sex, but an act of aggression. Many rapists(excluding date rape here) will rape senior citizens, people in wheelchairs, kids, whoever happens to be most convenient. Its certainly not a far stretch that a guy like that would rape the kid instead.

no he did it because first of all he was a rapist, thats what -in his words- "He does" but the main reason was because he saw george in the closet

and the mom wasn't necessarily pretending to be blind, she had "hysterical blindness," which is kind of a mental thing where you're made blind because you think you are blind...she was nuts

1. Yes, she was raped while George saught refuge in the closet. She saw him hiding and wanted him to suffer as well. So he got raped.

2. He then shot her out of rage.

3. She saw him and he came back to kill her because he knew she saw him and could identify him if he was caught.

4. I believe she was raped and shot. If you watch "Mind Hunters" she's the little Girl who says something like "Daddy help me" or "I'm sorry Daddy". Very, very disturbing episodes.
