Hi There, our roots are in Hardcore and we did consider doing it as a faster track, but having sped the number up from around 96bpm to around 128bpm we became increasingly aware that it was becoming impossible to do the brilliant but wordy lyric justice. It was just too much of a mouthful to get out and remain coherent :-) We think it jogs along nicely and we tried to achieve the perception of gathering speed by building the mix throughout the track.
@axemanuk1 No it is not Laura Branigan singing. I only recently learned of her sad passing. I loved her back in the day, played this number and we decided it had to go on the album. I truly hope she would approve of what we have done with it.
