@Nitro888888888888888 it just adds weight and isn't necessary. They run on methanol which runs cool. If you see anything on a sprint car, it's only there because it's necessary. They run the bare minimum of everything. No transmission, no battery, no flywheel on the engine, aluminum blocks etc. 1400 pounds with the driver. I've even seen steering wheels that have holes drilled all through them I guess to make it lighter too. Really cool cars!!!!
