Stone you are going to love B2K, it really is a huge step up from the vanilla game and it gives you so much more enjoyment than just the original maps. Its fresh and you wont be as frustrated with it as with ordinary BF3. Destruction is phenomenal HUGE difference and im pretty sure on PC its going to blow you away cos on PS3 its REALLY good.

FYI Air radar's been nerfed to the point of being useless. Used to give you such awareness of where everything was on the battlefield. Spotted ground vehicles aren't even on it anymore. :-(

Karkand is epic. You can't fault it at all. And surprisingly enough there's more people PTFO on the new maps than on the default. But the maps really do take a tactical mind to navigate, which is even better. All I can say is in a weeks time your going to love it.

Karkand is really good, it's more infantry based than vehicle, but on some maps the atttack helicopters are way overpowered.

Karkand is awesome but I dont know if its just me but the RU team automatically gets the points taken so as US you spawn trying to take back the points and its a total pain in the ass. The destruction though is WAY better.

@DJSMedicate na bro I think its still inferior to bfbc2 because you can't (as far as i've seen) destroy tactically (eg buildings) so its still more eye candy than function. Having said that its a joy that fences actually die when I shoot them now lol!!! ans they did a great job on the map pack

played a bit last night on the new patch, deffinatley feels different to me in a good way. didnt see very many IR scopes, i saw the red and white tower on Caspian at antenna get demolished, long rang gun fights are very different. burst firing is more important than ever.

Because I have 85k-ish score yet on my 360 it says i havent unlocked any of them, on battlelog it says all but 2? Im really confused and want to use those guns but dont know how? Maps are great on BtK but the game mode assault conquest is a bit off for me. Really would like to play normal conquest on these maps too.. just not sure if it's possible at the moment.

@mdk984 what is wrong with the Bolt actions? i hear so many ppl complaining about it just because its not a one shot kill at close range like it was in BFBC2 and i'm glad it's not. Otherwise people will start using the snipers like they do in COD which is bullshit and unrealistic. Snipers are meant to help spot enemies and kill at a distance and if ppl can't get headshots then they just aint good at sniping end of.

If you shoot someone in the head at close range then they're dead no excuses. do you not understand that if the sniper is made to be a 1 shot kill at close range then your gonna get a bunch of idiots running around the map tryna get 360 no scope kills instead of using the sniper class as its meant to be used. I repeat this is Battlefield not Call of Duty

Karkand is amazing! They way the maps are are really good. Wake Island sucks though. But other than that the maps are really good. A lot of gun fights happen early and often. The fact that you can go into almost any building makes it exciting and deadly to run through the streets. It's just so good!

It feels like most of them changes should've happened in the development. If DICE released the game in spring we would have had enhanced destruction for all maps and all the the features wouldn't have been so stupid.

I had a chance to play Karkand last night and the addition of new maps are nice. The maps are fun and look quite nice. One complaint though, when a Karkand map is over there are times that a battlefield 3 map will follow and that means everyone in the room will leave. Even if you wanted to stay the match would suck. There needs to be a way to play only the karkand maps on a rotation. Oh well.

i play PS3 and i can tell you STONE that the Famas with Foregrip, Suppresor and Red Dot is AMAZING! totally a very much competeable gun against the F2000 and the AEK!

Got B2K today, Wake Island sucks IMO, the Russians spawn with all 3 (yes theres only 3 flags) captured, and they get two SUE's and tanks meanwhile the Americans get jeeps and two shitty F35's that are completely useless in dogfighting because when you decelerate the plane enters vertical flight mode. I like the other maps but Wake seems totally unbalanced

@Raven0051 you've obviously never played bf2. The reason they spawn with all three flags is because its conquest assault. they start with a bunch of flags and the attackers have to take them. Dice would never make a normal conquest map where one team spawns with all flags. It would always be conquest assault if one team starts with any flags and the other team doesnt.

hopefully they can implement some of the destruction model they have used for the Karkand maps into the original maps. To me it already seems like more stuff is falling and buildings are being levelled which I did not notice on release. Could just be that it never happened where I was at the time in the beginning but either way, would be great if they could release the game they were SUPPOSED to release over the coming months.

sounds good for the patch. Karkand (for whatever reason) i played the worst i have in a long time. the maps will take some time getting used to thats for sure since BC2 was my first BF game. played conquest and rush on most of the maps. the new weapons seem to be pretty good so far. ive unlocked the FAMAS and the engineer first weapons and got a few kills with each. working on the "assignments" now to check out the rest of the weapons.

I honesly am not liking B2K. Im not a big fan of the assault variation of conquest, I do not feel these maps suit BF3 as they don't fit in with the other maps. They could fit in on BC2 but not this for me. Im not a big fan of how some maps I can't just spawn in a tank and get on with it and how awkward it is capping a lot of flags and the amount of flags you cannot cap in a tank. Im a big fan of using the tanks to go round and capturing the objectives and these maps just don't cut it at doing it
