Oh I loved this, even btter then the CD I love Jens soft "And sooooooo am I' then she just belts it out and Kieth man? Such a beautiful tone in his voice it's so romantic I recon, he never sings this good in the movie. I wish this was the CD version cuz it's so beautiful, both sound better live then a recording which is so amazing

The Song "Effie" DOES appear on the deluxe version but they put a more pop spin on it. The recoding is different from this version (which I LOVE). A different version was probably done because it's almost a direct copy of the original 1982 stage verion's soundtrack.

when i made this comment i had just finished doing the stageplay Dreamgirls, and in the stageplay This song and the one loretta devine sings in the movie are combined and it's called "I Miss You Old Friend" the "Effie Sing My Song" is just the second half of the song, but i get it now, thanx for responding
