I was a VISTA in Ketchikan from 11/98-11/99, doing adult education for SERRC. I loved the scenery and people, but the February darkness was a bit too much.
that was my experience with the folks up there also , I was in Craig in 83/84 .I have fond memories of the characters that I lived ,worked and met , people from all over the world ,all colors ,creeds ,and faiths

@trinidad718 now you can go to college during your year of service, so yes you can as long as the supervisor knows about it.
