Looks like a great trip, i do Germany most years, my dad has gone over there on his bike for the last 25 years, we love it, the Black Forest is superb, another favourite is the Harz Mountains region, fantastic quiet roads through mountain forests, a couple of good biker guest houses in the region too....

@stuYZFR1 Hi thanks for your comments on my video of the bike trip,i have been to the Harz mountains lots of times over the years in car,camper van,and hitching in my younger days but not on a motorbike, i would love to known the biker guest houses in the Harz ? stay safe Eric.

@ericbusa Cool, the guest house we've always stayed at in the Harz is called Hotel Harmonie, run by ex pats, the guys name is Simon, he's a great bloke, he'll take you out on guided rides so you can leave the map in the tank bag, he can go as fast or slow as you like, he does it for free too!!! he's based in Bad Grund, the other guys place is called Harz Biker, never stayed with him yet, but he's supposed to be just as good...

in 2012 im doing a trip from Ontario to Newfoundland and around the island on my 1100 shadow aero but im gonna take my time and do it in 2 weeks .

Beautiful the only problem with tis video is that it may have set me back 14 grand.I just bought a 2010 ktm 530 dual sport last month.Now I NEED a BMW 1200 adv to go for the long haul.thanks alot I will send you the bill.LOL.TAKE CARE and very good job on the video
