I Still prefer Gnome, it's lighter. I like the idea of KDE to make something similar to Windows, but it takes all the aspects of Windows I don't like..
But on the long run it doesn't matter which you use, as long as you run compiz fusion along with it.
just like windows, for that just use kubuntu man... live gnome alone lol
