Played with emotion and feeling. First one I have heard on here that is not played fast just to get through the piece. Too bad this does have noise in the background as it would be good to use as a backing track to sing too. Dang!
WTF!!!! What kind of twat would whistle and talk and make stupid noises during such an incredible performance? Joe Chindamo is one of the if the not the best jazz pianist in the world currently because of his amazing versatility. Seriously, why would such idiots take away from this performance?
...I wrote something here a year ago or so...I forgot then to add that the people (people is an overstatement) doing all the noise with voices and papers should be identified by the local authorities and included in a black list, which would be regularly distributed among all concert halls and places in the world where the audience is supposed to be quiet...such people would never be allowed in again...and the world would be a better place...
Saw Joe play lastnight at the Ellington Jazz club in Perth. Couldn't take my eyes off his head. What's goin on in there ? He is a brilliant, sensitive, and original pianist who deserves the highest respect. Thanks Joe. Also, the local rhythm section backed him up superbly.
wtf!!! did the people have beans and chili before the show, what's with the popping noises, it's rude you should be quiet when someone is playing this type if music, IT'S DISTRACTING!!!!
...what I find amazing is the capacity people have of talking when somebody else is trying to say something...they think that speaking low has no effect...the noise produced by those papers all through this brilliant performance is not in the original score by Mr Chaplin, nor is that annoyting mumbling...such noises just ruined the delicate balance of this pearl of interpretation...Joe Chindamo, God bless you for sharing your wisdom with me...take care :o)
Yes.... nicely put. It seems so especially in music. So many don't hear the miracles and scuffle and leave the room. It was once said by some famous person.. "People hear what they see". How poignant this statement... People have to see the "show" with lovely people, gleeming colors, dancing movements, smiling faces etc. Then the music becomes wonderful!
Isn't all art like this? It does its thing, some listeners are transcendently transported while other people whisper, talk, scuffle, leave the room, or switch to another video. This is mighty fine piano playing!
Love what he does with the harmonies, some pianist, never heard of him before, thanks.

Beautifully played. Too bad about all the noise from the audience. Sounds like they were all handed out chips/crisps.

Beautifully played! No need for vocals when the music is played so beautifully! It's a great pity about the audience noise.
