Would it be ok to think of all scales in terms of pentatonic? Since I already know my pentatonic scale in all positions, can I think of that as G major Pentatonic box 2 with the 4th and 7th notes added in (being C and F#), being G major?
this is pretty sweet I tried learning guitar when i was 14, ther farthest i got was decent rythem changes with E and A shaped barr chords (which i learned thanks to justin), now that ive picked it up again after a looong hiatus its convient that these "intermediate" lessons started popping up :)
I watched the old lessons about scales a while ago, and it's nice to see you are recording it again with more information in only one video. I must say: Thank you! This was really helpful. Practicing every day I got gradually better, specially in my picking.
