Yea. If you think about it this way, Rare knows what they are doing. If people are real Banjo-kazooie fans, they should enjoy this game even though the gameplay is changed.

Rare will probably make a great game but just because it got the Banjo Kazooie logo on it doesn't make it a BK game if it don't have the same feeling to it.

My point is that if Rare make a racing game with the BK characters in it, it would be more like a new Diddy Kong racing game than a BK game due to the lack of platform elements.

Pretty much like all the Mario games. The main Mario games is the platformers with Galaxy as the latest one, beside those there's all other games with the characters from the Mario universe, but that doesn't make it a true "Super Mario" game, it's just one out of many in a franchise.

Based on the version shipped out for reviewing purpose it's safe to say that the game is going to be about 90% driving vehicles and 10% actual platforming elements.

There's a lot more platforming than you'd expect. You have to get out of your vehicle and run around to collect stuff constantly. I've played the game, it's better than B-K and B-T COMBINED! It's the only game that's been so much better than it's predecessors. And here's a thought... why not download the demo (it's free! you can't argue with that!) and play it yourself. Nothing has really changed- it's the same old banjo, but with some extra-stuff added on. Vehicles :) They're so fun to make! :)

meh- it died off. I still like the game, but it's still not as good as the originals.

The music, however, is astounding! It sounds just like the originals but orchestrated :)
