I combined Daniel's demo and the Silverchair version while using the structure of this version (which I really like) for a remix, it's on my account if anyone wants to check it outzoifoasifoasjifijwat
i love how english garden and the actual iykls spawned from this, and a few songs spawned from english garden. all of the chapters are tied together and discovering the musical progression has been amazing.

My question is, how do you take a Dissociatives song and make it a Silverchair song? I grew up on Silverchair, but Diorama is when Daniel Johns started to get a little megalomaniacal. I remember watching the DVD that came with Young Modern when he was talking about some dude that said, "Daniel, Frogstomp! What happened?" That's exactly how I feel about Silverchair now. I feel bad I threw away thee reciept for Young Modern, or I would've got my money back, it definitely wasn't worth it.
Dude get over it, bands grow up and influences change ... don't like it? Then don't listen .. I don't listen to music I don't like and I think I speak for all humanity, so why are you so different?
i prefer this version to the young modern version i think... in the silverchair version daniel is trying to be hard rock and theatrical at the same time with this song while here with the dissociatives it's just properly psychedelic. It's like he can't be psychedelic properly with silverchair.
Silverchair: stick to hard rock/theatric rock.. go anywhere you like within the confines of that genre.. but psychedelic. keep it for the dissociatives daniel! geez!
i love the break down in this too, "take a look at this temporary skin, 'cause that's all you'll ever see"!!! "shot the model" in the new one is great too, but totally different!
"This is the first demo version of Silverchair song "If You Keep Losing Sleep" (from "Young Modern" their 5th album), originally played live at Enmore Theathre in 2004 by Daniel Johns with his side-band The Dissociatives (feat. Paul Mac)."
This is even weirder than the YM version! I love it!

Frogstomp was 3 pre-pubescent pussheads playing adolescant music. If you're a 15 girl go and buy the album....otherwise move on for christs sake
