@caulkins69 Really? How is this possible when no one knew that they had a smart meter? It was a matter of dates and times that brought everything together. I don't have diabetes but I did have high blood sugar (174-190) while the SM was installed. The SM was removed and now my sugar level is low (73-78). I also sleep through the night, headaches disappeared, ears stopped ringing, and no longer dizzy when waking up.

Some things folks can do to protect themselves: Metal mesh or metal covered materials can provide shields as long as the holes in the screens are smaller than the wavelength emitted by the smart meter. If you live in a stucco home the chicken wire underneath reflects the EMF back back out to the street (and neighbors' houses). Low-e housewrap (aluminum coated mylar type coated wrap) will block the waves too. Aluminum blinds help. So will metal window screens.

@Bedroombiology With all the network handshaking going on, smart meters transmit far more often than that. I have 900 MHz wireless headphones that I can't use since the smart meter went in because of interference every couple of minutes or so.

LOOK HERE!: "Blue tag" on my smart meter. On others I noticed that they were red. The lock tag looks like an advanced possible an RFD device? Try sleeping with the breaker turned off to most of your house. The results are absolutely amazing. This experiment does not work well in apartments or condos. Camping is the ultimate rest. After the smart meters were installed 28 people in my neighborhood suffered from insomnia and headaches. Only 8 people said they were not affected or the already have had sleep problems for years. The symptoms stopped the same day the meters were replaced with analog type. Do your homework and talk to your neighbors. The truth always wins.

The smart meter and the smart grid is necessary for a more cleaner future and no doubt an important arsenal in managing electrical demand and supply. I do not think that banning smart meters entirely is a best thing to do. Rules and regulations should be reworked. Privacy issues is still a concern on the internet as well. They are being resolved. I have never had a problem going to sleep or waking up in the middle of the night. As soon as my head hit the pillow I was down for 8 hours. Since I now have mandatory forced radiation emitting every 6 to 20 seconds, throughout my home, my life has changed. If I sleep in my bedroom I wake up with a feeling like I've been hit with a hammer and in an instant wide awake. I now suffer from extreme tinnitus, headaches, nightmares, loss of taste and smell. @aphoolimnaught I have been there and done that. Unfortunately, the meter uses the wiring in your home as an antenna. I am noticing stronger readings from my metal vents leading to the air conditioning/heating unit. Probably due to the heavier guage copper line. These signals are capable of traveling 2 miles and the power company can adjust for that.

I don't have diabetes but I did have high blood sugar (174-190) while the SM was installed. The SM was removed and now my sugar level is low (73-78). I also sleep through the night, headaches disappeared, ears stopped ringing, and no longer dizzy when waking up.

Thanks for the good presentation. Some things folks can do to protect themselves: Metal mesh or metal covered materials can provide shields as long as the holes in the screens are smaller than the wavelength emitted by the smart meter. If you live in a stucco home the chicken wire underneath reflects the EMF back back out to the street (and neighbors' houses). Low-e housewrap (aluminum coated mylar type coated wrap) will block the waves too. Aluminum blinds help. So will metal window screens.

After the smart meters were installed 28 people in my neighborhood suffered from insomnia and headaches. Only 8 people said they were not affected or the already have had sleep problems for years. The smart meter and the smart grid is necessary for a more cleaner future and no doubt an important arsenal in managing electrical demand and supply. I do not think that banning smart meters entirely is a best thing to do. Rules and regulations should be reworked. Privacy issues is still a concern on the internet as well. They are being resolved. Utilities for example can only receive aggregate data on the grid. only rules and regulations need to be reworked.

If you can't get rid of these things or have a bunch of them around your home just tape an eight by eight square foot piece of foil to the wall closest to where the smart meter EM-waves are coming from. That should shield you from most of the radiation. Double layering can also help.

the meters dont send signals constantly. they are supposed to send in a short fraction of a second pulse once every 4 hours.
and i have not personally seen the documentation on the amount of EMF they emit, but i do not see why they would need to use more than a radio station, or direct TV.
I really doubt that it radiates more than the sun. you would feel that.

Radio is not sending data packets and you don't have to have own a Direct TV dish or have it powered up. Most senior citizens spend 24 hours a day exposed to these rf radiation digital data packets. The meter is constantly trying to communicate with "smart appliances" throughout your home.

I have a smart meter in my hallway - i buy electricity online without having to go out. I buy an amount and the web page gives me a keycode number which i input into the keypad in the hall. It then credits my electricity account.
It's great for me as I don't go out as much as I used to. In northern ireland - we also get a discount for using this.
I am concerned if they pass info about our private lives to the highest bidder.

@soxmoe1 We have a doctor in the family that wasn't taught to look for these symptoms, as problems arising from smart meters. There are others in the neighborhood with the same problems. I have found that the only way to get any rest is to get out and away from cell phone coverage. It will be only a matter of time before you or someone you know will have the same problem. It doesn't discriminate. At least now, you will know where the problem is coming from. look up antennasearch

I have never had a problem going to sleep or waking up in the middle of the night. As soon as my head hit the pillow I was down for 8 hours. Since I now have mandatory forced radiation emitting every 6 to 20 seconds, throughout my home, my life has changed. If I sleep in my bedroom I wake up with a feeling like I've been hit with a hammer and in an instant wide awake. I now suffer from extreme tinnitus, headaches, nightmares, loss of taste and smell. My writing is not as good as it used to be.

@2011 Google "insulation 4 less {dot} com. Use the foil wrap they show there, even the thinner stuff will do. At "less emf {dot} com" for carbon sheets to suffocate the radiation. Staple foil to entire inside of meter wall. Foil wrap meter completely to stop transmission. rewrap[ every time the utility corp unwraps it. Human rights, civil rights, property rights, privacy rights, health rights, legal rights - exercise em or lose em. Secure any analog meter, defend you family, stand your ground.

@aphoolimnaught I have been there and done that. Unfortunately, the meter uses the wiring in your home as an antenna. I am noticing stronger readings from my metal vents leading to the air conditioning/heating unit. Probably due to the heavier guage copper line. These signals are capable of traveling 2 miles and the power company can adjust for that.

rf radiation carrying data packets? Still doesn't change the fact that it's a radio signal. Photons have to have a frequency in the UV range to cause physical damage (ionizing). Light bulbs (visible light) have more energy than radio waves. Do you wear a suit to stop light from hitting you? Sun block stops the UV spectrum of radiation from damaging you. Sunscreen is way more effective than tin foil on your head. Basic science.

Men are adversely affected, but most don't feel it til it's too late, many women & children feel the pulsing radiation effects sooner, the sensitive ones feel flesh cooking right away. A Dr. in Rome believes cancer is a fungus and treats it with sodium bicarbonate. So it would make sense why RF radiation data pulses weakens the cells therefor they are unable to fight the cancer fungus.

i do lots of video work and hooked up lots of "wireless" mics
the wireless Allows speaker freedom to move -runs to a 9v or AA powered body pack - body pack transmits to the receiver wired to the sound board or camera ... in this case the quality of the sound causes me to think it is directly into an amplified speaker of some sort ... the wired sound would be hooked up to the mic which is fixed to the speakers shell in front of him ...
