  • To everyone saying this is fantasy should watch the latest UFC match of Den Henderson vs Shogun Rua. In round 3 or 4 (i forget), Dan Henderson does the exact move seen last in this video. Hendo rolled Shogun into a crucifix as seen above with the exact locking of arm leg and positioning. Hendo is also 41 years old.

  • i like it reminds me of catch wrestling

  • this is awesome Aiki ju-jitsu

  • lol man keep dreaming, as billysue2 said, aikido is a fantasy martial art, or a style of dance as i like to put it

  • Salutations. Is this derived from the Katas?

  • Really cool!

  • I don't understand comments like this...

"All this is good until you get into a multiple attackers situation...."

What about when you get into THIS situation. This is a practice for THIS particular situation. If there were other attackers, THIS would no longer be THIS situation.

Should I get you a ruler so you can compare your parts also?

  • aikido doesnt have an effective method of training, without full resistance sparring you wont be able to apply the techniques.Aikido is fantasy martial art.

  • 99% of Karate is affected by things similar. Like not using correct distance when attacking....

  • @billysue2 If you understand martial arts you would know this isn't fantasy. In only 20 seconds even a first level can tell this is a desplay from a 'drill' not a spar. With that said, from 20 seconds you can not say they do not do full resistance sparring. Never jump to conclusions so quickly, or in a match you will be defeated quickly.

  • impressive, what style is this?

  • Aiki Kenpo Jujutsu

  • This is excellent stuff, for sure! where is your school located?

  • With all due respect I don't see the difference between Koryu-Uchinadi newaza and Judo newaza. Granted, the clip was only 20 seconds.

  • Thanks for your observation - is this the same as asking the difference between balance displacement, joint-manipulation/limb-entanglement, and or air/blood deprevation techniques in Qinna compared to Jujutsu? If so, then the answer is simple ... there is no difference, only the cultural landscape, names, time frames and politics.

  • i agree with you sensei. im a judoka and have to agree that its the same. even bjj is related to jujitsu or judo. different emphasis thats all.

  • Cool

  • this was nice! wow.

  • and people think ground work cant be beautiful
