my favorite part is at 2:54, but it brings to mind a thing i read on wikipedia about lon chaney being catholic. just thought id bring this up, if anyone can confirm or deny that fact...
Interesting how they made Jehan the one who lusts after Esmeralda rather than Claude Frollo. I guess even in the 1920s it was risky to portray a priest negatively, even if it was true to the book. That poor crazy mother.
Aww! Frollo and Quasi look so cute at 1:15!

Jehan is way hotter than Phoebus. I don't know what she was thinking.

@karlaidoscoper THE COWEL DOES NOT MAKE THE MONK! JEHAN MAY BE HOTTER, BUT HE IS A DEVIL!

This Frollo is so scary! Imagine that coming to you in the night, confessing his love for you...*shudders*

Wow...the mom's tune changed when she saw that necklace! From cursing and pulling at her hair to, "Save her! SAVE HER!"
LOL Geez!

Yeah, I agree. Still, the film is quite insteresting, as you stated, besides being different.
