for me the first gears of war had the best campaign. i had never seen anything like it, and the gameplay, visuals and feel of the experience was incredible. so atmospheric, its just a shame that trilogys rarely keep that magic all the way through.

I didn't think Gears 3 had a bad campaign. It wasn't as great as Gears 2s campaign but Gears 2 just had something special to it. Nothing like chainsawing a giant worms heart from the inside. you just don't see shit like that in a lot of games. Gears 3 is still the best in the series becuase the multiplayer is amazing and so much fun. Gears 2 just had the best campaign.

these trailers aren't just teasers, they're so much more than that. they have a certain level of emotion that the song and the visuals give it. the music is also not only perfect for what the visuals are showing you but they all, from Mad World to Dust to Dust, all tell their own stories about the game. god i love you epic games
