@randir14 Considering the character is Japanese and that there are plenty of Japanese people with the name 'Ryu', I'm going to take a wild guess and say that it's pronounced Ryoo/Lyoo (sounds like 'cue'). It really doesn't require any debate at all, other than considering some obvious relevant facts.

@hbkx450 It's a NAME.So you have to follow the pronunciation that Ryu was born with and the pronunciation that he uses to pronounce his name.Doesn't matter what English you're using,SBE,SAE,Scottish English,etc.For names you have to follow the pronunciation that the person uses to pronounce his/her name.And in this case,it's Ree-Yu,Yu,Roo or whatever it is that Ryu use to pronounce his name.So it's pretty ignorant for people to not pronounce someone's name correctly.
@SteveMagatama In actual Japanese, it is more of a Roo, but, in actuality, you kind of pronounce it as Dru with only a slight emphasis on the d and r.
