lion did'nt kill that giraffe. 99 times out of 100 a giraffe kills 5 lions easily. It usually does take 4-7 lions to bring down a full sized buffolo, because buffolos kill lions all the time, and no single or 2 lions can take on a healthy full sized buffolo, because lions are wimps. I am surprised the drinking elephant tolerated the lions. all the clips I always see, elephants will kill every lion in sight that can't get out of it's way. sorry angan the elephant is the king,can kill 50 lions

I've seen a video where a single lioness takes down an adult giraffe. An there's another video where two sub-adult lionesses take down a bull giraffe. Lions are more then capable of taking down a giraffe, and there the only predator that is known to take down a bull elaphant. The famous Savuti Pride took down 30+ elaphants and hunted them regularly. And in occasion some lone lions are capable of taking down a buffalo alone, but it is rare. Male Lions often do this though.

LOL Stop exaggerating! The video you are referring to shows a baby giraffe being taken down by a lioness. Did you see that the lion was almost the same size as the giraffe? The lion actually jumped right on it! An adult giraffe is way too tall for a lion to jump on. One lion doesn't have a snowball's chance in hell to take down a bull giraffe LOL. Actually, lions will kill only if they have reason to believe that animal would get up and run. If it's a small, baby or sick animal that ain't going anywhere, they would just star eating the poor thing. All in all, lions don't really give a crap about the convenience of their prey.

I own the DVD and many of the lions were injured. it took MORE than 10 lions to bring down that particular bull giraffe. Even on the DVD there is no REAL proof that man didn't kill it for them. in the battle the giraffe breaks some of their jaws and sends the lions literally flying and whirling through the air with it's kicks.
