If you're referring to the distorted nature of the audio I'd have to disagree. I think it gives it a cool 'modern' edge, and it wouldn't sound as cool if it wasn't for the distortion. It sounds almost like a modern techno track. I think the music is outstanding.
@wlmason73 Well, since *I* (Linus/TRSI) composed the music I know what it should sound like ,) The filter range is just wrong on the old chip. Going to upload a decent version soon.

I've never heard of this game. Must be an old one (i mean that by 64 standards). 1984/85? what a twist - space invaders with bullets bouncing off walls. Again, I can't believe I've never seen this game before!

A pitty you did not use a 8580 soundchip because that´s what I did the music for :) this 6581 version sounds crippled, a pitty.

You'd have to be familiar with the Vectrex to know about it, it was one of the last batch of games to come out for the system.
Congrats to the poster for getting the sixth place though! :P
