  • sounds better than dark brotherhood, too much better

  • Kinda Ironic how its SONIC'S music is composed on MARIO paint.

  • R.I.P., Michael Jackson, Sonic's friend.... ;-(

  • Its pretty good! And thanks for information about M.J... I am really surprised that he made the SONGS for SONIC 3! But, this composing is a lil bit too slow, and haves it's own "-". I like Mr.Propart's version the best :D

  • The limits of Mario Paint certainly show at 0:58. That one awful note was like a kick in the teeth. ._.

  • This is final boss not doomsday. Plus you forgot to insert the epicness note at the beginning. But I still think it was good.

  • THE EPICNESS OF THIS SONG IS STRONGER THAN CHUCKNORRIS!!!!

12 PEOPLE ARE JEALOUS OF YOUR GOD-LIKE COMPOSSING!!!

  • easy boss

  • yes michael jackson did compose this. he composed many of the sonic songs.

  • wow, sounds fantastic! I can't believe you did all that from ear! :)

  • Wait a second, why do people make sonic songs in mario paint?

  • Did Michael Jackson only compose some of the songs or all the songs? And don't assume he didn't compose songs like this one just because it doesn't have "hey" in it, or sound like any of his other songs.

  • @MajBlood: He composed all these songs together with a guy called Brad Buxer,so he probably has worked on all of them.

  • @BenNiGeLing just sonic3 not sonic3 and knuckles

  • @BenNiGeLing

LOL at how you continue to contribute to that ridiculous rumour.

Please, show me the proof that Michael Jackson composed the music in Sonic 3.

If Michael Jackson composed the music for Sonic 3, then they would have used that fact to sell the game even further. Why would Michael Jackson secretly compose music for a Sonic game without being credited? You are talking about the best selling artist in history here. Michael Jackson refusing credit for his music?

    Give me a break.

  • @MGOTraitor Link's in the description.

  • @MGOTraitor lol.

  • @MGOTraitor You've just been owned by the description.

  • @MGOTraitor even 5 months ago i got a nintendo magazine(since sega dont have one) and it said michael jackson with the composers of sonic 3 working on the soundtrack

  • @MajBlood mj composed mario stuff????

  • @ziggtigy No MJ composed music for Sonic the Hedgehog 3.

  • @MajBlood oooh cool i didnt know that i can go tell all the girls that like michael jackson did that

  • @MajBlood Also: This piece has exactly the same chord progression as Stranger in Moscow.

  • @SFtheWolf No you are thinking of the Credits music for Sonic 3.

  • @MajBlood They're actually the same tune. Listen to when the melody kicks in around the time the Sonic 3 logo comes up; It's the final boss theme.

  • actually michael jackson was originally supposed to compose the music for sonic 3. i dont listen to michael jackson so i wouldnt know the similarities but it says in sega megadrive ultimate collection/sonics ultimate genesis collection if you press b/circle when you highlight sonic 3 in the main menu

  • lolololol. It's hard to think of MJ and Sonic at the same time o.o

  • nice it has more bass in this then the original but i like that

  • @RodniDemental

if you bothered to listen to the songs side by side, you'd see that they are to similar to even think MJ didn't write them. carnival night--jam, knuckles theme--blood on the dancefloor/in the closet, ending--stranger in moscow. face it, you're wrong and theres nothing you can do about it...

  • do your research.

It was confirmed recently that MJ was in fact involved, but he chose to not have his name in the credits

  • No, I already did do my research and so far I see nothing more than rumors based on similarities. If he really did compose the music, I'm happy accepting that but someone needs to show some proof other than it sounds similar. There's only limited notes/chord progressions in music so in similar genres it's easy for something to sound similar.

  • check it out on Sonic Retro, it was recently (and i mean RECENTLY) that he was involved

  • @DTY16 Hmm ok thanks, I'll have a look. I dunno, it just seems a bit suspect to me though. I don't doubt that the music could easily have been inspired by his works, but written? Why would MJ write music for Sega and take no credit for it ever?

  • apparently he wasnt satisfied with the result, so he did not want to be credited.

That's the only part that seems fishy to me, as he didnt have a problem with the Moonwalker Genesis game (if he worked on that)

But what's his name(Brad Buxer?) said this, and Buxer also worked on the music.

Kudos to you for not being a jackass and trying to start a fight, I respect that.

  • sega already confirmed he worked on some of the music for sonic 3 right after he died, so you're mistaken.

  • @BenNiGeLing

    Okay thanks :)

  • This remix would be a nice boss battle tune for an RPG maker RPG...

  • Ur flat on the peaks such as 2.27

    0.58

    annoys meeee

  • How'd you get the flute sound? PS Awesome.

  • Sounds epic with the deep bell noises. Kinda like a Castlevania theme. Good job!!

  • Jun Sencou composed the music for Sonic 3, Sonic 3 and Knuckles

he've been doing a great job

    I doubt Michael did anything....except for "designing" Sonic's shoes....pfh it's so stupid

  • he assisted with the music... why would he help design the shoes? the designer was a fan of him and especially the buckle in bad, so he used that, obviously his fandom led to his assitance in the soundtrack

  • No, what's stupid is that you totally ignored the fact that Sega confirmed that Michael wrote the music, and that two of the songs in the game are clearly Michael Jackson songs. The end credit music is "Stranger In Moscow", period. Way to be a douchebag.

  • One, fuck you for dissing Michael Jackson. Two, Michael wrote Launch Base, Ice Cap, Carnival Night, and the end credits.

  • When my cousin and I played Sonic 3 on my XBox co-operately, we got all emeralds by the first act of the Carnival. Now that I have Sonic 3 and Knuckles, I'm going to have to start over again if I want to see the REAL ending. *faint*

  • MJ couldnt have possibly made THIS, but he did do the soundtrack for:

    Mini Bosses/ Knuckles Encounter

    Ending

    Launch Base Zone

Probably moar but if you hear a Sonic 3 song with random clapping or random voices- MJ wrote the song. He wrote epic win songs in his time. He wrote epic fail Sonic songs in his time.

  • I don't think MJ composed this, but he DID compose the credits song, and JAM (CN). Awesome game, awesome music. Music 10/10 (too good for Genesis), Gameplay 10/10.

    Nice remix too.

  • don't forget Ice cap too

  • I heard that was proven false. I posted a video of it before Qjimbo claimed it was false. (I have a video called Sonic 3 Musical Secret. It responded to a video that said there was a connection but the annotations say it was wrong.)

Maybe MJ DID compose it anyway, I still want to thank him for the music he put in the game.

  • yea I just watched it too, the edited one. Sorry guess it was wrong. Though I still think they sound similar. Oh well.

I at least think MJ had something to do with some music in Sonic 3

  • Although there has been a rumor going about that MJ helped compose Sonic 3's songs, there is absolutely NO connection with this song to any of MJ's. So really, he didn't help with the OST. >.>

  • OK U need to look up yourefacts!!!! he DID help SEGA with the music on Sonic 3, he wrote them and 3 of the songs is allso compared to 3 of his originally songs look up STRANGER IN MOSCOW by Michael Jackson, and if u need more facts search on WIKIPEDIA!!! and also: the creators of Sonic 3 payed Michael not to add his name on Staff Roll sequence because they didnt want the fans to think he did it ALL!

  • Actually what happened was MJ originally composed the songs for the game. Sega rejected it because MJ was in the middle of a lawsuit at the time. So Sega redid all of the songs

  • How did you make the instruments sound like real instruments. (i.e Yoshi making a flute sound, etc.)

  • Awesome song.

  • R.I.P., Michael Jackson. You will be missed. :(

  • this bosses music is my favorite besides sky sanctuary.

  • For some reason, sounds more Medieval-final, rather than mechanical final, if that makes sense.

    Awesome nontheless.

  • yeah i know what you mean

  • i get wat u mean. its the low pitched bells and heavy drums

  • great :)

  • NICE!

  • What Michael Jackson song is it? (Since you said that most of the tracks were originally from him).

  • This was an exception, as it is still in the PC version of S3&K.

  • Can you get your seventh emerald at Hydrocity? I can, but if S&K isn't locked on, you'll get into a glitchy boss fight. I can get Super Knuckles in Marble Garden.

(AI1: under ground before swings, after fire, underneath the first flamethrower.

AI2: break the wall after the first tunnel, right corner of the last waterfall.

H1: take lower route, near the ramps.

H2:The second time Sonic is launched up a wall, inside the left, the last one is in a vertical tunnel of spin things, on the right.)

  • i got the seventh emerald in hydrocity zone for sonic 3 and the game played out fine...

  • Were you Super Sonic when you entered the arena? What happens is that when you are Super, you could bypass the boss and get stuck at the capsule. If I'm not super, then it doesn't glitch up. Or if you enter the minigame special stage at the lamppost before the battle, you give the game time to fix itself.

  • i've had that glitch happen, but what you do to avoid it is simple. dont hold left.

the problem is that super sonic goes too fast for the screen to lock, so you have to slow yourself down and give it time...

  • I have walked pass the boss knowing the glitch could happen (as opposed to dashing), do you have to stop, take a few steps, stop, and let Robotnik spawn? I play with S3&K 95% of the time, so it really isn't a problem with me.

  • well, stopping does work, but you can easily just go back and fight him even if you do pass the border, as long as you didn't press the capsule. however, if you do that, then the capsule will disapear completely and you'll be trapped until time runs out...

  • hehe why do i find mario paint so stupit :']

  • maby you are stupid (kidding)

  • :O ! lol i am pretty mutch lol jk

just when i think of mario paint lol

  • Michael Jackson? What?

  • Nicely done.

  • Kickass!!!!

  • Great remix! 5 stars!

  • If you think Sonic 3 is the best game ever, get Sonic and Knuckles, put it in your Genesis, and put Sonic 3 on top of S&K, you will surely be blown away by its awesomeness.

This remix is awesome too. 5/5

  • @Xaragon64DS yeah, sonic 3 e knuckles is the best, but don't forget of the other combinations

  • @Xaragon64DS It's in my Genesis right now. :3 My favorite Sonic game. <3

  • @Xaragon64DS deff i put it on sonic 1 one time...and i remember the screen would pop up with sonic shaking his finger going "not compatible"

  • @lancerevoMD Press ABC, I never knew that until after my Genesis broke. :(

  • This song was also used in Sonic and Knuckles.

  • Awesome!
