Clearly he was seeking help from the cops because he thought the husband (or boyfriend) was going to hurt him, I believe it was self defense.

the police approach the victim and comfort the girlfriend when she falls out but for the victim i watch the police stand over him, i see them having conversations to the side but NO CPR. You can see when his leg finally falls over and that's it.

This man was lossing his life there and he was basicily alone. Sad site

The family should be taking a long look at the response of the police on the scene. Ive watched this video over, and over to make sure im catching everything. The reason for this, is that none of the officers attempted CPR on this guy. If they tried it was way after 2min have passed. If you watch the video you will see that at 1min 21sec the victims is laying there all alone with the cops talking around him.

If Childress had been 7 feet tall then i might say it was "self defense". But i don't think childress was ever a threat to his life, and therefore it was not necessary to use a firearm. Therefore, I think this was murder, or at the very least, man slaughter.

The shooter was stalking the other man's wife & had been following them around that day trying to provoke a situation since he had recently purchased the handgun. Getting the guy to follow him & conveniently pulling into the side of the station where there were camaras was all premeditated. If he wanted to avoid the guy he should have done that & left his girl alone. Aren't you gonna get pissed if someone stalks your girl?

Wow...... Ok Durango did rush him, but the guy in the car didn't even put his car in park, he just got out blasting. He could have stayed in the car, he could have called the police and got Uniforms to pull him over, or he could have taken the asswhipping like a man who had relations with another man's woman. Ok chasing somebody around town aggressive like that would be crazy.you don't know if he got a weapon or not I would be scared myself and then I finally get to the police station and dude get out and run to my car and at me aggressive  I would do any and everything to defend myself. capture the video and slow it down... u can clearly see that the driver of SUV was armed with something, apparently something shiny... now we hear the Defense has sent a knife to the crime lab to be tested.... and for those who say its murder.... ask yourse this, if someone came at you with a knife and you had a gun in the heat of the moment, after fleeing to a police station just to avoid them what would you do? This is self defense totally. If the shooter had intent to kill this man...he had PLENTY of opportunity to do it. Why would he wait to get to the police station before he killed him? Come on? Plus the victim chased him through town, all the way to the police dep. and then blocked him in...all the while his children were in the car. Looks to me like the victim was the aggressor. And what is the GF picking up off the scene and throwing in the car. This needs to be investigated.

some one was in the white car so they know what happen but the guy that got shot and he did the right thing by turning him self in. But when that person ran back to the suv she or he open the driver side door and put some thing up cause the door open and shut with in one second of the time. So that guy could of have a nife or a gun so we don't know hew was in right here but that guy should pull in the parking lot in sted of almost runing his car in to that guy's car.
