  • I think Waylon and Johnny got a big kick out of this song. Waylon starts to laugh at some of the lines in two places. Art imitiating their lives. From what I have read about Waylon, I think once he met Jessi, his wife and got clean of drugs, he really didn't want to be on the streets that much--or if he was, he wanted her to be with them.

  • I thank you for posting this song. I have a version on cassette. Neve heard this version. Pretty damn cool.

  • Paul English on drums there - ol' drunken sod, but play he could. Waylon and Willy both used him. Waylom more humorous and loose than Cash, who was always more serious and sombre. Interesting tape, never seen it before. Thank you!
