  • car is originally from japan and was rebuilt here, in estonia

  • Nice car and nice driving!

Did you have to change the firewall? I'm just curious since I own a V5 Type R in Sweden and might rebuild it some day.

  • firewall? what's that :)

  • The wall made of sheet metal between the engine room and the driver's feet. Where the pedals, brake cylinder, dashboard etc is attached :) In most cars you have to weld in one from the LHD version since mounting holes for pedals, steering and so on don't match.

  • actually, no. as far as i've been told in subaru all "holes" are there, you don't have to worry about new firewall (on evo's you have to, for example).. so you have to change steering rack, dashboard and accompanied stuff, do some re-wiring, pedals and you're pretty done... here you can get all done for about 2-3k€ (all inclusive)

  • Thanks for the info, it's good to know! I can get it done for 2500€ here in Sweden I think but wasn't sure about how much work it would be.

  • any way ive got to admit it sounds good and your a good driver

  • hi mate subaru never made a left hand drive sti type r,they were made only for japan they're own version of the p1,so your video is a fake, the only left hand drive coupe made by subaru is the 2.5 rs

  • I agree with you. i was thinking the exact same.
