.. of someone's work. It's intent is so that people can share something they are passionate with others. The video is not locked because That would prevent those who do like it from acknowledging it. If I wanted to I could jump on your profile and verbally degrade you for just playing Omerta over you playing it on the guitar. To be honest, I can hear a riff in it from you but I don't care. You honestly like the song and I'm not going to knock you for that.
That's America, baby! Thumbs up! I can also voice my intense love for a video too!
But it's okay, I'm not a good guitarist, I can easily admit that. And there's no point of telling you that I'm gonna re-record it with pinch harmonics, because you wouldn't have known that. You can punch me in the balls for it, it's cool.
Widnows Movie maker is inexpensive, hell, it comes with Windows, people make some AMAZING fuckin' shit with it.
You could have at least cut out when he started singing and stapled in another part of the song so it could've continued with the flow. So the music wouldn't be broken with "Broken the paradigm" and then the vid ending.
... out of a passion for both subject materials. I was 17 when I made it. I don't have the expendable income to spend on expensive editing software and whatnot. I'm saving to go to college and don't think that a lack of money should in anyway impact my decisions.
The fact that you don't like it is fine, there are other people who don't on this same video, but they don't try and degrade the person who made it. Also, the point of youtube is not so you can voice your intense hatred...
Ok, as the person who did this let me shed some light.
I did not pick the song for no reason. I went through Lamb of God's albums and thought this was the best song for the commercial for several reasons.
The lyrics that are heard coincide with every aspect of the game. "If I die you are forgiven I live I will kill you", said right before the Chief rises, put his helmet on and rejoins the fight. This is the first video I've done. It was made with Microsoft Movie Maker and it was done...
Are you serious? Shit... That was the shittiest editing I have ever seen in my life... You just slapped Omerta on top of the commercial... You just got lucky with the timing... And even though that song is THE FUCKING SHIT... it doesn't fit the commercial... Omerta: A rule or code that prohibits speaking or divulging information about certain activities, especially the activities of a criminal organization.
It's on youtube, it's not private, and the comments aren't locked... It's open for criticism. How can you say it isn't bad? He just slapped Omerta on top of the commercial...
I purposely left the background in because the screaming artillery at the beginning of the Master Chief part and various explosions really added to the ambiance and I would hate to lose them.
Yea i figured that the screaming artillery right when the music kicks in was just too cool to pass up. It kind of signaled all hell breaking loose in my mind. Plus I don't have a fancy movie editor so I couldn't split the A/V tracks but I totally see where you're coming from.
i love the beggin after he says honor great job making this 10/10

Rofl, why? The game is already out and the original commercial is fantasmical.
fpsgene 3 years ago
its not like this one was actually gonna be on tv, he made it for fun, and ur criticizing his vid, so if u think its so shitty, then make ur own...

the point was to keep the backround explosions and bubble shield to match the timing on the song, with was almost perfect...

That was a really shitty editing job, you didn't even take out the background noise from the original video. Good song choice though.
