@FrancoAC Utoob doesn't seem to allow links to be posted anymore, so add this after the dot com here on the tube, thanks! (or just go to my page and click uploads, there aren't that many)
I used to have a black one. I took a tone control out and replaced it with a coil tap switch. These models are better than the SG2000 and SG3000 that cost much more.
Oh, you said SG200 ! Oops ! My bad, sorry ! The 200 is a 1971 issue isn't it ? There's a Youtube on here of the complete history of the SG, I think it said 1971 ?
Franco, the 2000 is a beautiful guitar, but the 300 is arguably THE rarest of the 2nd series . People will offer you silly money for it if you're daft enough to sell it.
I paid 199 quid for mine in 1989, I took it into the local music shop for a re-string and intonation fix, and the manager offered me 3,000 pounds CASH on the spot !
He told me that there are maybe less than 100 of them left, so hold onto it !
@neilfunn Thanks mate. It was your video that set me off to do this and even had me searching through their back catalogue for more riffs. I envy your SG though, is it a 2000 model?
awesome! I have one in black. I just posted a Skids cover video, (very old recording, but fun) check it out in my uploads.

@vecuccio Hi mate, mine is a 1985 model i think when Yamaha switched some their production to Taiwan, but all the hardware is still Japanese.
I've never seen a 300! I'd love a 2000 but cannot afford one. Thanks for the info.

Nice licks mate. The more Stuart Adamson riffs the better :-)
