@Blade02b common reasons a brush doesnt work is having the wrong layer (a lower layer) selected or the wrong tool selected when you think you have the brush selected, perhaps you have the eraser selected instead or another tool. It is, in essence just a brush, the fact that you made it yourself doesnt change anything so be sure to check things like this. If youre still having problems after you check this, hit me again and I will see if I can help.

it worked to retazise it, but when i placed the brush on my image, it got all noise and pixel looking =( But then i tried to make a brush on a higher resolution but now i cant even press the define brush button, its gray. =(

@Saggmos95 It sounds like you are definitely having layer problems. You should check to make sure you are on the correct layer when attempting to do certain tasks like "Define Brush Preset"

@Saggmos95 I can only guess, but I have a couple of ideas. You may be on an empty layer, if your working with multiple layers you need to merge the layers (hold down alt and go Layer/Merge Layers, or flatten image) or since you working with text, it MAY need to be rasterized before it can be worked with, but dont hold me on that, just right click on the layer and click "rasterize". if this doesnt help let me know and Ill try to think of something else

Theres just not enough changes between the two but there are some. If you can get CS4Ex that cheap then do it, but if you cant the CS3Ex looks good. Those are good prices so it makes it hard to decide there, But I guess at those prices the newer the better.

I get alot of questions about saving your brushes. Though your brushes will be saved automatically, if you change your brush pack you may have a hard time finding them. The best way to save them is as an .abr pack. Go to edit/preset manager (or choose this from your brush drop down menu), holding shift, choose the brushes you want to save. Then click save set and choose where you want to keep them.

If it only does GREY or BLACK & WHITE, You must have your canvas set for Grey Scale. set it for RGB or CMYK. Its when you first open a new canvas.

To resize an Image or Text, use Ctrl "T" (Use shift while adjusting size to maintain proportion) To resize brushes, eraser, etc., Use Left and Right (AKA open and closed) Brackets. ------> These " [ ] "
