The only reason this film is notable from the other live action films is because of it was released with "Winnie the Pooh and The Honey Tree". However, I like that the narrator for the trailer is Paul Frees.

It seems like all Disney does lately is remake old ideas... why not do a remake of this!! This seems like a real cute idea, and with both the success of Marley and Me and Beverly Hills Chihuahua, I think a revamped version of the Ugly Dacshund could do very well. Who wouldn't want to see a movie starring cute little weiner dogs??

I find it funny that this dog thinks he's a dachshund, when in my own experience most large dogs simply ignore little ones. My grandparents had a dachshund that thought she was Catherine the Great of Russia, but the other dogs just ignored her.
