What is interesting is that the deaths before the late 80's were self inflicted when people did something they shouldnt but since they have been happening to guests who are behaving as they should and its the rides that are killing them, this is also true at WDW. And in the case of Mission Space it was a non malfunctioning ride that killed two people but one that was designed so that it exceeded human tolerance for certain susceptable people.

There was also a guest who was stabbed at the park by another guest in 1981. Disney employees refused to call paramedics and decided to drive the injured man to the hospital. He bled to death and the family sued and won and undisclosed settlement. Disneyland now handles it's medical emergencies differently.
