@sasprawler Put the snakes in a safe container, then take everything out of the cage. I use a vacuum to get the small pieces of substrate. I have a cage disinfectant from Petco, I wipe the cage down with that. Clean any poo off the leafs, or wood. Clean the water bowl out refill it. Put everything back and you're done.
how old r u? because i made a deal with my mom that if i got straight A's, i get a pet. so far ive gotten it three times and i have a snake and 2 lizards
I have a snow/Ghost corn got him 15-2-10 & I am so impressed! In the shop he was a little jumpy. Got him home, held him straigt away, sat down, opened the container we took him in & he was fine. He was due a feed..so we left him from monday until his due day (wed) He fed fine...no hesitation.
Dude i subscribed to your videos , email me and learn about how you wold fit nicely into my website right along with herping with brandon I can assure you it's worth the efforet!
I have had a corn snake since 2-1-10 and she's cute she's also extremely friendly she loves her aspen to dig in but I love that cave you got, so would baby!
thats a sweet cage setup dude, i didnt realise you could house two corn snakes together... if i was to buy two young ones from a breeder and hpuse them in a 20gallon viv and put in 4-5 hides and lots of rocks and branches would they get on OK?? does it matter what sexes go together? like male, female, male male or female female which is best?? because i wouldn't want any breeding to occur cos they'd be from the same clutch..?
u wanna get 2 of the same sex man. (no homo lol) but really u can have 2 in the sane tank as long as they are close to the same size. i do n it has workd out fine 4me. 20gal would be good even since u hav baaby corns then hell yeah go 4 it. but u do need 4-5 hides jus like 3 would do fine but its watever u want man.
That'd be cool :) Thanks alot man i'll try housing two together...but just in case i'll make sure to have an extra cage handy in cast they get a bit "Violent" LOL
As a responsible pet owner I wouldn't house two snakes together if it induced any stress on either of them. They actually seek out each others company more often than not. When they want to be seperate, they go to different hiding places. THEY ARE PERFECTLY HAPPY TOGETHER. Corns are NOT cannabilistic in nature.
@1nvglsam before talking to shit to the guy who made the video go to school and learn to spell you retard.... to gfisher270 nice video and cool corn snakes !
@1nvglsam yeah, um, learn how to spell buddy....lol last time i checked its not possible to bread snakes or much less put the gither...not sure what that means!!!!
its only a danger when they first hatch and havnt had there first meal then they can eat there sibalings but once past that point they can be housed together but in some cases it induses stress on them but for the most part if its a big egnough tank with ampel heat and hides they would be fine
i think they are wonderful! i myself am a proud owner of a female Reverse Okeetee her name is Ruby! as for everyone saying they cant live together, thats false, as long as you provide several hides and a few water dishes they are perfectly fine, and as for eating eachother corns are NOT cannibals! and if you even own a snake you know you dont feed them in the same tank you keep them in. no matter if you have one or four in that same tank. anyway, like i said your corns are wonderful!
Giving their food in the same tank or in a seperate tank is just a matter of choice. In truth it doesnt really affect the behavior of the snake towards you or its environement.
its bull shit i got 3 corns in da same tank they all have there hiding areas and do not bite each other atall i obs feed em out of the tank when there not near each other but corns are fine to keep together its just milk snakes and kings
snakes will only tolerate each other, and if you see them curled up together in the same hide it means they are competing for the best spot. This will cause stress, even if they never fight. In the wild snakes will not live together, so this method of keeping is unnatural.
i think so. because when I was at the pet store they told me to start out with a small tank for the snakes. then as they grow to get a bigger one. i think it has to do with the heat to cold ratio.
nice tank bro

putting two corn snakes in the same cage can lead to cannibalism. so if i were you i would get echo his own cage

Corn snakes do not eat each other if kept in the same tank. My two have lived happily together for three years with no problems at all. Idiots.

Yeah they live fine until they chose to eat one another, if that's a risk you're willing to take then you shouldn't own a pet in the first place.
They don't kick it with each other in the wild unless they're mating (and it's only temporary).

Snakes aren't sociable animals and shouldn't really be kept together...
SexyBear77 2 years ago
why not? they like each other and never bite each other so its fine.

Do your snakes a favour and separate them.
