@JustinSeizure Best proof I can give is right after Activision bought blizzard they began work on SC2. Also there was a noticeable downgrade in the quality of the game when it was released (lacking chat and forcing you to always be online so you couldn't play locally without having 2 copies).
@JonathanTopping Well that isn't exactly proof. I'm sure Blizzard would eventually produce both SC2 and D3 without the interference of activision. They can't live off of WoW for ever. Lack of quality is probably a cause of activision but I'm sure they're not the reason for SC2's release. That you have to be online to play is not a surprise either. That isn't really a unique feature since many games had used it already. That is probably also the work of activision though.

World of Starctraft is a great idea, but graphics must be much much better - as in the between missions parts of StarCraft II. And people must have an apportunity to have a starship, battle tank, combat suite and so on..
I wish blizzard's cash cow game were a World of Starcraft instead of warcraft... technology, futuristic gadgets, guns, and aliens suites me a lot more for a "fantasy" game than magic, gods, swords, kingdoms, and all other sort of stuff based on ancient lore.
I wish they hadn't canceled ghost. I can look back today and still think this game would have been epic. They should have changed directions. Rewrote the engine for Xbox 360/PS3 and even PC. World of Starcraft never came out officially. The only versions around were the ones from the galaxy editor from SC2. There was a poll on what new game that were to be released by Blizzard. The people wanted Starcraft 2.
World of Starcraft might actually work when SC2 is done, with all the business of the Hybrids and the Xel'naga. Maybe it'd be like WoW, but 3 factions working independently and sometimes teaming up (a la Icecrown) to fight the Xel'naga menace.
They probably make a Starcraft 3 that has Heros and items and stuff before Blizzard makes a World of Starcraft. It's like how they did Warcraft games.

Real simple, if you can play the game alone then that subtracts the MMs, you get ORPG. Since Diablo is online capable and its a RPG simply said. However, it's not an MMO-RPG.
MMOs have to be Massive IN its Multiplayer function(s), not just be a Massive game WITH a Multiplayer function(s).

I hope you guys remember that the "World of Starcraft" images were released and confirmed to be an April Fools joke by Blizzard, I think in 2006.
But.... I still hope it does get made at some point. But It wouldn't be with these shitty graphics, god no.
I also hope it doesn't suck me in and destroy my life like WoW did...

if they did make it.. it would suck u in worse than WoW did.. and prolly would until u die.. cause it would be uber epic lol.. :p i would definitly play it to death.. once u get tired of a race or class/unit type u would just move on to the next.. it would take awhile b4 u finish them all lol

Are you kidding? You can get a great computer for under a grand if you build it yourself! And I'd rather have neither, I'd rather have a gorgeous and fun game, rather than the other 2 things you said. But there's a limit to how shitty a game can look before it starts being unplayable. Oh, I don't know, have you seen guild wars 2? shit looks awesome, and it looks solid. And besides, why would they make SC mmo play and look shitty? It's blizzard, ffs. Get real kid.

@deividas56 Man, with good graphics gameplay is better. There are some games with really bad graphics and good gameplay but most games that have good graphics also have good gameplay. Oblivion, Fallout 3, Call of duty, Battlefield series, Star wars battlefront, Torchlight, Medal of honor... all those games have good gameplay!

I didn't say Crysis graphics, but not these old as fuckin pics, and not WoW style graphics either. Shit is old too. And you know, some graphics engines are programed just right to look great and run great too. And people should move out of the fuckin amish country and update their comps too.

Uh, are you forgetting about Diablo 3 thats already in development? I highly doubt a game that has not even been announced and for all we know isnt even going to happen (as there has been no official note, or even a hint) would be RELEASED BEFORE a game thats IN DEVELOPMENT.

Real simple, if you can play the game alone then that subtracts the MMs, you get ORPG. Since Diablo is online capable and its a RPG simply said. However, it's not an MMO-RPG.
MMOs have to be Massive IN its Multiplayer function(s), not just be a Massive game WITH a Multiplayer function(s).

3 races: zergs,protos and human...
gay looking armor and even if humans and protos have armor, what armor will zergs use?
zergs: no armor, no weapons that u can basicly see.
human: gay looking armor for the marines, maybe a ghost can be pretty good.
protos: best looking toon...

its starcraft ghost. it got canceled early 2008. They made it for the X-Box but the 360 just came and they didnt transfer it.

@EgliLika314 That's not how it went. It wasn't 'cancelled' per say. It was developed for the Playstation, Xbox, and Gamecube waaaay back. Support for the Gamecube was cancelled however due to lack of online capability. Somewhere in the development, it encountered problems. It was then "indefinitely postponed" and still is to this day.

That's not what MMO means.. MMO is when you play on atleast one persistent server capable of supporting thousands of players. There's also UMMO Ultra Massive Multiplayer Online. capable of supporting every player in the game in a single word. First game to try that was Wish. which was cancelled.

@Azarthes MMO means its an online game thats like a RPG, Diablo is a MMO and yes,you can play WoW on ur own and win thats why they have a setting for WoW to play on your own,AND thats also why everything gets stronger with the more players in your room on diablo

Noo... Diablo is a RPG you can play Realtime over the internet .. MMO is where everyone on the game is in the same server... if you joined a game of diablo and there were at least a thousand people in the same game, then, it would be a MMO.
