@azeroth666s Station Master at Kulem is not authorized to issue permission. You need to approach the CPRO of SWR at Bangalore and they will guide you regarding the steps to be taken.

Dude, great video.. but please get rid of the GAADI BULA RAHI HAI tune. We (Indian Rail Fans) want to hear the train sounds. Overall good work and how did you manage to get on the WDP4........I ENVY YOU. Keep it up but remember no tunes attached next time.
One of the train that passes through this stretch is is Pune-Ernakulam Purna Express. Traveling from Pune to Ernakulam, it reaches here in the morning, and when you are coming from Ernakulam it reaches this stretch towards the evening.
Its an amzing stretch, where almost 3 engines are attached to the train in the front and 3 behind to acheive proper breaking.
These scenes were shot while onboard freight trains with special permission. You felt the whole train was made up of locos because downhill freights have FIVE WDG-4 locos attached in this section to achieve proper braking.
Hi. Why 5? and that too WDG4s? I am just curious, so if you know, then please share. I presume, since you got on the loco, you must have managed to ask the loco pilot out of your curiosity as well. Also, I have seen trains dispatched with only 2 WDM2s at the rear end and one leading the train. And for most purposes, I thought that this was sufficient, unless I am mistaken. Please correct me.

We had asked the Kulem Staton master to let us aboard the locos, but we were denied .... so had to trek the falls ...

It was not a WDP-4. All the locos featuring in the video are WDG-4 freight locomotives.

Can u tell me how far is this Falls from Madgaon like if 8048 departs from VAsco at 730 when it is likely to reach Dudhsagar Falls.

@sabya11377 If a train departs from Vasco at 07:30am, it will reach Kulem by around 9:00am and cross the Dudhsagar falls sometime around 9:30am.
