Actually her point was very valid to raise and it didn't seem very hateful to me. She even says that she doesn't think it was necessarily a bad idea. The misreporting of wikileaks documents by the media is going to be a huge difficulty to overcome as they gain momentum.

The data were released, and it showed that there wasn't any falisification and that the internal working of the UEA CRU were consistent with how they presented themselves externally.  If anything, it upheld their credibility!
