  • these projector is not as bright and contrast is lower by half how can this produce a better picture than a epson 5010 or panny 7000

  • nice review glad you like the projector you look like a learned man

  • Do you rent or own? If you rent.. wait till your land lord see all the holes in their house...

Are yo from Trinidad or Jamaica?

  • @kevonmanuel I definitely own my house. There's no way I could have done what I've done to this house otherwise!

  • i was thinkin of epson 5010 e whats your thoughts

  • @70short From what I've been hearing, the Epson 5010 and 6010 are the way to go if 3D is most important to you.

  • @BrolicBeast 3 d is the least important im looking for the best 1080i picture i can get both in clarity brightness and black levels

  • Nice Man!!

  • @breker19er Thanks! lets hope true 4k doesn't become ubiquitous too soon.....or i'll be in trouble!

  • @BrolicBeast HAHA no joke!!

  • Im picking up the SonyHW30

  • @maaly1087 That's a great purchase. congrats.

  • Why son't you just get the RF glasses Like the Monster vision 3D glasses, saw some on Amazon for like $90!

  • @bigmichael03 Not sold on those quite yet. I've been reading up on a few alternative glasses though, as I refuse to pay $180 per 3d glasses set. That's just way too much.

  • Where do you order stuff like this from? How do you manage the heat output in the equipment racks i imagine that room gets pretty warm. As always very nice stuff.

  • @blacknova23 Thanks thee kindly. I got this from the projectorpeople website. the room does get warm if the door is closed, but with the door open, it's room temp.

  • nice BRO

  • @Neodestro Thanks, I def appreciate it.

  • Is that next the black diamond screen??

  • @machosiner04 Yeah that's definitely what I'd LIKE to pursue next. But life outside of HT world threatens to delay that for quite some time.

  • Congratz Bro Dat Projector is a Beast.

  • @daren845 Thanks! 'tis a monster indeed!

  • Congratulation @BrolicBeast. It was time to buy a projector. how much it costs? about 3000$

  • @roliverosc Hey, the time had indeed come! with glasses, emitter, and shipping, it came up to $4k.

  • what about taking the emmiter up the wall and mounted it on a small shelf just below the ceiling?? or could it be mounted upside down on the ceiling??

  • @adyscarborough Greetings! Great idea! but I'd rather not have to have shelving solely for the emitter. Others have encountered the same problem I have, and have spliced it with other wires. I'm currently researching the methods and, when I have time, I"ll actually do some splicing to get a longer emitter cord!

  • @BrolicBeast what about routing it to the projector opening and making a niche in the wall below the opening to house it??? ...... sorry, the ideas are because im a builder and always thinking about things like this lol :-)
