I play Americas Army Three, the problem with that game is... online its all just senseless killing, there are no missions. They need to add that in, I am planing on joining.. But when you play it, it is all just death...
If your really into realism, a mature community, as well as a community that's mostly ex-military, try ArmA II. If you haven't heard of it, it's a Military Simulator, the Military uses the same technology used in the game, and to play, you have to know a bit about Military terminology, communication, and a bit of Computer programming but overall, you create the missions, or you can go online onto Dedicated servers with Clans (Most clans are named after Military units, ex.101st)

Are you serious? Not once since I have been playing has anyone asked me to join the army and I was playing this game since it came out. I was like 20-something when the game came out and I was not recruited for anything. IT IS JUST A GAME! and as far as getting it at the recruiting station, you don't have to. You can download it for free and not have to go to the recruiting station to get it.
The american Army's policies aren't related to the British ones any closer. The US has an all volunteer force so our armed forces rely on recruiters unless you want to be speaking Russian or Chinese, the millitary is a necessary evil like police, OH and AA games are hard as fck and suck hit detection is practically non existent, that said i would still preffer dying in a combat zone to being gun down in a classroom or hit by a drunk driver.

says "occupying" power in an "occupied" territory, pretty sure we arent being occupied. an example of this in action is after world war 2 we "occupied" Germany, we werent able to recruit any of their teens.
We included the second paragraph only to complete the reference, the top paragraph is the violation this "game" commits:

Children as young as 13 are lured to participate in the America's Army based events- also a violation of Homeland Military Propaganda laws. You are correct that the second paragraph refers to occupied regions.

You still have to join as an adult. There is no shame in inspiring young people to become soldiers. Some recruiters did break laws to meet quotas, its true but not the majority. Are you serious? Not once since I have been playing has anyone asked me to join the army and I was playing this game since it came out. I was like 20-something when the game came out and I was not recruited for anything. IT IS JUST A GAME! and as far as getting it at the recruiting station, you don't have to. You can download it for free and not have to go to the recruiting station to get it.

The US has an all volunteer force so our armed forces rely on recruiters unless you want to be speaking Russian or Chinese, the millitary is a necessary evil like police, OH and AA games are hard as fck and suck hit detection is practically non existent, that said i would still preffer dying in a combat zone to being gun down in a classroom or hit by a drunk driver.

The thing is, most news networks always spin the story to make it so that the Army is the bad guys in this story. I play Left 4 Dead, as well as America's Army. Does this mean that because I play Left 4 Dead that I want to grab myself an AA-12 and a 1911 and go shoot the undead? No. It's a game, an escape from reality. You still have to join as an adult. There is no shame in inspiring young people to become soldiers. Some recruiters did break laws to meet quotas, its true but not the majority. Bad Apples +Press x Idiot Population= Media Circus. I think military service should be mandatory. Put some discipline in todays youth. As for the Geneva convention, I was actually in the Iraq war (unlike you) and I recall the Geneva Convention being used to the point of endangering us. Hard to fight with your hands tied
