Also, The Beatles are my favorite band of all time & I listen to a huge variety of music. Which is why I think some of you need to realize that it's not about who wrote it, or did first , or who was the best band or most popular band at the time. It's about one thing and one thing only: THE SOUND! I love this version with the Sam Cooke bring it on home reference, The Beatles version gives me chills, & The miracles original infiltrates my soul. They are all excellent!
Hi guys, I'm glad your enjoying the upload! I'm noticing these debates you guys are having and I just wanted to say a few things. For anyone that doesn't know the original was written by Smokey Robinson and recorded by The Miracles in 1962, The Beatles in 1963, The Supremes in 1964, & The Zombies in 1965. However, this is one of the most covered songs in music so there are many more versions.
something's wrong with the notes the guitar plays at 0:5x , also, the live version by the beatles recorded in stockholm 1963 is awesome, by far better than the "with the beatles" studio version, wich is great anyway. this one is interesting and different, and these guys have a couple of great songs, but they are "just another group" compared to the beatles. no other group was as awesome as the beatles!!
@kiChiSaga EXACTLY! Even as a massive Beatles fan myself it pisses me off when Beatles fans think The Beatles version was the original and best version! Its The Miracles song in EVERY way!
Hell no. The Beatles had chops that the Zombies could only dream of. Now the Zombies were amazing but they couldn't hold a candle to the Fab Four. Sorry, it's really easy to say the most successful recording group is overrated but they were who we thought they were.
BUT The Medley here is AMAZING, tying Bring it on Home with this song was brilliant.
I'm sorry but I honestly like this better than the Beatles version. I like Colin Blunstone's smooth voice better than any of the Beatles and I like this rendition better. Not saying it to be non conformist and I have nothing against the Beatles (other than eclipsing other great 60s acts in hype). I truly mean it

Huh? This was not a "Beatles song" - the Beatles were covering the Miracles.
The Zombies version was also a cover and also happens to be my favorite.
Colin has one of the great voices in music.

This is good compared to the Beatles version, but the Beatles will always be the best group ever.

@kingdancekiller,
I see your point but, and it's a big BUT in your own comment, I do love this version and prefer it to others precisely because of the medley...
