It's a white band that says ONE on it, it is to abollish global poverty. I have been wearing one for over 3 or 4 years (can't remember it's been so long but it's actually off white now and cracking lol). I'm a huge fan of U2 and when I went to their concert I signed up for onedotorg you should go there it's very enlightening.

Anyway, YES it was awesome seeing U2, I've actually seen them many times and they get better every time. I highly suggest doing so, they're coming in 2009! Yes go to onedotorg and check them out, there are a lot of petitions and things that can be signed to send to the candidates and others in congress. It's a great cause and it's worth it. Enjoy!

For the record I have been involved in a campaign against Palin and ariel hunting for the past 6 months with Defenders. Also joined One at Live 8 in Hyde Park (maybe you friends nephew can tell you where that is) and was in the march on the G8 summit at Gleneagles. Look at video of Palin taken yesterday or today, see any braclet now? Didn't think so!! Maybe Bono can give her another when he meets her at the UN today whilst she is on her "I need to meet a real leader because I'm not One" tour.

Well if you're so involved in the one campaign please explain your partisanship?? Tearing apart one candidate for your own agenda has NOTHING to do with the one campaign get it straight. Bono has said that the current administration has given more to this cause than any other administration before them. I am nor republican or democrat and I hate extremists. No I stated that's where I first heard about onedotorg was at a U2 concert not bought a band. I actually bought 100 of them and gave them away to everyone I know then gave the rest to my niece to give away at school. I also bought TShirts and I am a monthly member to oxfam. I am very active with onedotorg but more monetarily because I have children and can't just up and go to the G8 summit although I would love to.

I am NOT a Palin supporter. I just think if someone will support the cause of onedotorg then I respect them and do not feel the need to put them down. This is a onecampaign site and you come here to support Obama and put down Palin, how is that not childish and immature? lol okay, first my kids don't come online second I'm an adult so I can use whatever language I want when someone is being a jerk to support their polical agenda. McCain is NO buddy of mine but his wife gives more to the poor and travels to war torn countries on her own dime for refugees so I wouldn't mind being a friend of hers...lastly, I'm a supporter of the one campaign not Palin, Obama, McCain or Biden (although I like him the best).
