light never liked misa...she was just a tool (the eyes). so even if he never got the death note he would have never been with her willingly. he just needed a loyal person and someone stupid( or deluded) enough to half their life twice for him. their personalities never really coincided positively

Well, Death Note was brilliant.

Only slightly badly written part, in my opinion, was the ending, but this may be my bias for Light.

I reckon Light and co. should have had some handguns or such ready, or Mikami should have hidden a single page of the note from the moment he got it.

But that aside, it was a brilliant ingenious story.

I know.... it didnt look like they came prepared..... Also light could have made his point that Near is Kira beacuse he had the Death Note in his postion and just arrest him......And also i wander how we can arrest people in other countries??

Well, near didn't show the note until AFTER Mikami came in, so they already had the dirt on Light.

But the arresting part, it's not really arresting in the straight forward sense.... they're probably just gonna drag him away and cover it all up, you know, FBI style or whatever.

There wouldn't be a public trial or shit like that.

Basically, they'd kill the perp and hide the corpse, with the government covering it up for them.

to bad Light died in the end i relly like his personalettty, the way he was thinking and how he deducted his moves if that man that he sent the death note to had a page hidden somewhere on him things could have ended far better(in my opinion)
