CAL's... Gross. The scenery reminds me of MCAS New River. Gross also. Landing in sand is way more fun. Little brown-out keeps the senses keen. Nice vid though. Even got some externals in there!
Cool videos man! I am about to start my helicopter commercial rating soon ( Im private+instrument rated) and have a Nflight cam that i will video my flights. Remember when you hear that Low rotor RPM warning horn to roll on throttle, lower collective and aft cyclic. Doing the opposite will kill you

When I shot this video I wondered what was happening. It's an odd feeling when the helicopter began to descend in its own wash. They later told me this was the cause of several fatal accidents. I look forward to seeing your videos.
@askcaptainscott I know nothing about flying 747's across an ocean lol That scene at :25 where they are doing a confined space landing can lead to settling with power (descending into the down wash). As a Rotorhead i enjoy your videos and hope to see more, you seem like a good instructor too!
@askcaptainscott Awesome dude! I love helicopter, i got about 4.2 in fixed wing and i switched to rotor wing and its been fantastic! Helicopters are finicky machines for sure, but its so much fun!

not so easy. I'm getting my private helicopter in a few months. That will be a challenge!
